Get this when you get a new fridge.

Required For New Refrigerator Icemaker Installatio

This kit works ok and will directly connect most 1/4 inch valves to most newer model refrigerators. Valve has to be very close to refrigerator though because this kit is only 6 feet long.

terrible experience

The firm i hired to replaced said they recommend the small plastic hoses and not these at all as they are nothing but trouble.

Works Like a Charm

We had reconnected our old 'fridge (first install 1998) in 2008 following a complete rebuild of our house. Nine years means a lot of technological improvements and this connection was one of them. Made installation to the water line extremely easy.

The installed waterline kit was only 2 and 1/2 years old. The LG refrigerator we has failed. I did not think it was needed but had to purchase the waterline kit anyway.

Samsung Bespoke fridge water line.
