It was very easy to install as all the necessary connections were there. Took 5 minutes -- no leaks. Had water immediately and ice within a few hours.

Needed new water line

Our last one was plastic and it was fine the entire time. Since this is stainless I would expect it to hold up at least as well as the plastic ( poly ) one we had.

Waterline Kit for hookup - Samsung Refrigerator
