I love having the stainless steel waterline. It replaced old plastic tubing. I feel better about drinking the water from this source. The 6' cord easily reached from my basement up to my refrigerator.

Connectors are easy to use and the length allows plenty of room to pull out and connect the fridge. Bought this instead of the plastic hose in hopes of longevity, no-plastic taste and no-leak operation; only been using it for 2 weeks, but so far so good. Definitely run about a gallon through the water line in the fridge and throw the first two days of ice (for a new fridge hookup).

Best Buy delivery/installers will not connect a refrgerator water line to copper so I bought this one. I get why they don't want to deal with copper as they're afraid of either pinching or puncturing the copper line. This is a nice long, braided flexible hose. No more worrying about a pinhole in a copper tube or how far I can pull out the fridge before the copper starts to bend. Money well spent and they delivery guys installed it with no questions.

Stainless steel line is the only way to go , they are just worry free , and plastic lines can get kinked fairly easy and they get hard and brittle over time . When you buy one , Best Buy installs them so another plus !!

This item was required for free installation of my refrigerator with in the door water and ice. I prefer stainless to plastic tubing, as the stainless does not effect the taste of the water the way that plastic can. If you want water in your fridge you need a waterline. If you want BestBuy to install your fridge for free, it must be this one. Easy decision.

Had to remove old copper line and install new water line. New refrigerator seems to roll out for service much easier now with new product.

When we purchased our home the previous refrigerator was left with the residence. Three years later a significant leak coming from the fridge occurred. This was the first time we had actually pulled the fridge out to inspect behind it. We immediately noticed that the water line to the fridge was about 8 foot of ridged copper line wound up behind the fridge. The way the line was contorted to fit behind and attach to the fridge created a lot of pressure which resulted in the pump and mechanicals being tugged on and eventually breaking. We ordered a new fridge as we wanted to replace it anyway. This was an item required for installation if done by BestBuy. This item was creating appreciated. We trimmed down the copper line and attached this hose. It easily concealed behind the fridge and created no tension at either copper line attachment or the fridge attachment. I feel much better knowing this.

This is the best refrigerator I have ever owned. I particularly like the ice cube feature (2 sizes), the spacy freezer, the feature that allows the water pitcher to be easily filled, and the more than adequate shelf space. This was an excellent purchase.
