Just what the plumber ordered.

Three years later a significant leak coming from the fridge occurred. This was the first time we had actually pulled the fridge out to inspect behind it. We immediately noticed that the water line to the fridge was about 8 foot of ridged copper line wound up behind the fridge. The way the line was contorted to fit behind and attach to the fridge created a lot of pressure which resulted in the pump and mechanicals being tugged on and eventually breaking. We ordered a new fridge as we wanted to replace it anyway. This was an item required for installation if done by BestBuy. This item was creating appreciated. We trimmed down the copper line and attached this hose. It easily concealed behind the fridge and created no tension at either copper line attachment or the fridge attachment. I feel much better knowing this.

Water line for refrigerator

It connects easily and comes with the plumbers tape although we didn’t use it as it has the little black gaskets on the inside so that’s really all you need.

No leaks

It is better than the copper pipes which may pose a problem later. Easy to install. The delivery men told me it is extra cost for them to "install" and screw in the line so we did it ourselves. I do wish someone had mentioned it before their delivery call though!
