The stainless steel shroud should help support the hose for years to come. Everything needed for installation came in the kit.

Replacement Water Lines a Must

We own several rental properties and normally purchase our appliances from Best Buy. Good prices, great selection and seamless installations. We always replace the water lines - prevents issues from popping up.

I inspected it before installation and it was very high quality. It was easy for them to install and gives you piece of mind that it will not leak. Never reuse the old junk, not worth it

It is just like the one they took out. The good news is that the one they took out has lasted for 12 years and did not leak --- just like the one on my dishwasher that I had to replace. So now I have two perfectly good spare stainless steel hoses in my attic --- just in case. I was not sure I needed to replace this but I did not want to hold up the installation if there was a problem with the old one. I should have taken the time to pull the old fridge out, take off the hose and verify it was the same as the new one. With all the covid issues I did not want to get out any more than I had to. So some of this problem is on me. Besides my wife just said "don't take the chance that we might spring a leak when we are off on vacation ---- if we ever get to do that again
