The installers used it and didn't even have to tape into a water line, Been in for a month and not a leak.

Refrigerator Water Hookup Kit

Our old refrigerator had a rather strange water hookup (who ever looks at the back of their refrigerator?) so by buying this recommended part we made sure that we should have minimal problems in the future. The installers were very quick on getting everything installed, and cleaned up the area well.

Why risk leaking lines or working with hard copper lines when you can have a flexible stainless steel line that make connections a breeze.
