    It was suggested I purchase these to go with my new fridge. The braided ones apparently are less likely to freeze then the ones that come with the fridge. I have had no issues with them.

    Buying a new hose hook up for your new refrigerator can save you a lot of problems with old and outdated hoses. Better safe than sorry with a new hose. Easy to hook up in place of the old one.
