The fridge installers had no problems adding this. There are no leaks and water / Ice maker is working well. Like anything in the background. It’s only a problem if it doesn’t work. This works fine.

So, this hose was not only unnecessary, but would not be long enough. I purchased it just in case, but was able to return it very easily at local Best Buy with no hassle. The quality of the hose did look fine however, and you can't go wrong with stainless-steel braided hoses.
