Our old refrigerator had a perfectly good braided waterline that was long. We were told we needed to order this item for them to hook up our refrigerator line but that if it wasn't needed we could return it for a refund. The installer said our current waterline was fine and no need to use the new one so we did return it for a refund. However looking at the package and reviews I would think that this item would be really good if you needed one.

Great waterline kit

This product is so great that when we got a new refrigerator, we didn’t even need it! The first one we bought was still perfect and in new condition for our new refrigerator. It’s a great product!
