    My refrigerator installers did not install the new waterline kit at the time of delivery of our new LG refrigerator. They felt the existing waterline kit did not require replacement since it was only 5 1/2 years old, having been installed at the time we bought the Whirlpool unit which had failed.

    The stainless steel waterline kits is much more durable then traditional copper tubing and will last longer. It is also much easier to install.

    Bought with the new refrigerator because warranty needed to be on the same receipt as refrigerator. Seems a little high price, but convenience of having it with new refrigerator was a plus. It’s good quality and these lines need replaced regularly. Because they deteriorate and can leak. Same with flexible. Supply lines under sinks and to toilet.

    The lines are required for a new install and they are built to last. Better than the standard plastic lines
