It is a complete kit that even includes pipe thread tape. This product would be easily installed by the typical homeowner, though since I had the refrigerator delivered, they did the hookup for me so I didn't have to. The stainless steel line is much better quality than the typical plasticy line that it replaced.

Great product. Worst customer service ever.

Buy it (and the fridge) elsewhere or don't have Best Buy install it. The kid they sent didn't recognize the water line so didn't install. Getting a followup appointment is proving impossible, months later. Hiring a plumber (at my own expense) to finish the job Best Buy couldn't.
