    It's pretty simple and works. I didn't do the install, but I didn't hear any yelling, screaming, cursing, shuffling around, banging, or anything else. It seems like it works just fine. Glad we had it, though. It made the install easier.

    The installation of the water line to my new Whirlpool refrigerator was done with care -- he checked to make sure no water was leaking, a tight fit and that the ice and water on the door of the refrigerator was working properly before they left. No problems so far

    The kit is a necessity to obtain without which the refrigerator cannot be installed. This kit (which should be included without an extra charge - part of the racket) itself does the job as advertised. No leakage to date has been detected.

    While there are no doubt less expensive products out there to do this job, I saw no reason to take a chance on lesser quality when this was to be attached to a $3000+ refrigerator. If you are lucky, you have a 1/4 inch compression fitting on your refrigerator and this water line connects directly. If you have just a 1/4 inch copper tube on your refrigerator, a 1/4 inch copper union is included to save you a trip to the hardware store. In either case, follow the instructions and don't over tighten the connections.

    the flexible stainless line is much easier to install than the copper style and will not kink as you push the fridge in its place
