They felt the existing waterline kit did not require replacement since it was only 5 1/2 years old, having been installed at the time we bought the Whirlpool unit which had failed.

I didn't do the install, but I didn't hear any yelling, screaming, cursing, shuffling around, banging, or anything else. It seems like it works just fine. Glad we had it, though. It made the install easier.

The "Kit"; the Racket

This kit (which should be included without an extra charge - part of the racket) itself does the job as advertised. No leakage to date has been detected.

Cost effective do it yourself kit

It was nice I could purchase both at the same time & didnt have to hunt down this kit at the local home store. It is very easy & cost effective using this kit instead of paying someone to do the installation for you. I highly recommend it.

Who wants water leaks??? NOBODY! The waterline is something you do not want to take chances on. So it is smart to remember: The New Refrigerator Needs a New Waterline!

Why? Because my daughter, who was at my house for the delivery & installation, said the guy was guick to set up & install and never mentioned hearing any swearing. Definitely give it 5 stars.
