Like it says in box stainless steel and the smart choice....EASY installation what can be better

When asked what's the difference between this waterline and one I could just buy at Home Depot, the customer reps at Best Buy couldn't answer this question. They made it sound like this is a water like that is specific to the LG refrigerator, which I highly doubt is the case. It's just a 1/4" inlet/outlet, like the cheaper, universal versions at Home Depot. Those are even longer than this 6' version. Some are 12' feet for $17, as of this writing. Of course, this is particular line is made of stainless steel, compared to the braided plastic material that the lower costs at HD ones are made out of, which might explain why it cost almost $29.99. I had thought about getting my own water line but decided against it for this reason: 1. How silly to save $12 when I've already paid $2200 for the refrigerator and another $40 for them to set up the refrigerator, including the waterline install. 2. I might as well let them worry about the waterline install, including all the fittings they will need, as they've done this a thousands times already. If I mix it up by introducing my own waterline, the installers may get annoyed.

Couldn't use it due to plumbing issues, but dont see an issue with the product.

Arrived early as scheduled; unfortunately blocked a driveway and neighbor was upset, yet truck driver did revise parking so neighbor could get out of garage. The Whirlpool refrigerator was not damaged and is working well. Two men spoke Spanish/Mexican and removed the old refrigerator and installed the new one. Did not understand most of what they said.

Was easy to hook up. And was definitely necessary to accommodate the ice maker and water access in the door.

This water line fit the refrigerator as described. It was easy to install.

This item was not installed. We used the existing line and I.jad to do it myself. The installers left telling me the existing line would not hook to the new Samsung refrigerator (which we love!) and that the water line was capped. I turned the water back on and the old line began leaking all over our kitchen. I hooked it up myself and it now works fine.

This hookup is behind the fridge but it works well. Easy to install and doesn't look cheap. Built to last.
