I looked at several other units before committing to this one, including kits at Home Depot and Lowes. I was sold on this because of the joints which are rounded out and provide a smoother exhaust flow for the dryer. Other kits had joints which were sharp 90 turns and poor joining brackets.

Best Buy was awarded a dryer purchase with all accessories and installation with Total Tech coverage due to the ability to be thorough, competitive and DELIVER.

Extremely heavy duty and rigid. Having said that, know that these have a large rigid vent connection to the back of the dryer and in the wall causing the dryer to sit out from the wall quite a bit more than the old traditional dryers. May want to keep that in mind if limited on space.

This popped up as a required part when I purchased my dryer online. I guess the Geek Squad guys used it to install my dryer. I haven't had any issues so I'm assuming its doing what it's supposed to!

I purchased this vent kit as I really wanted to 90 degree elbows to prevent any crimping of the vent work. Great concept on this as the elbows allow the dryer to be moved a little - they swivel. Like I said - Great Concept, but this Frigidaire vent does not fit my LG Dryer. The size is correct - 4" wide, but after the install was completed, it fell off the dryer end the first time I opened the dryer door. When I heard it hit the floor, I moved the dryer slightly to look behind, and it fell off the vent end. Thinking the installer forgot something, I worked with this for hours and just could not get it to stay attached - yes, I used the clamps. I finally ended up re-attaching my old one (about 10 minutes) which was perfectly good and unfortunately I had to return this vent.

Vent for dyer you have to purchase this vent line when you purchase a dyer for safety reasons

Unfortunately we could not use this particular vent kit. Our laundry room was too tight for this to fit so we exchanged it for a flexible one. BestBuy took it back no questions asked. Customer service was top notch ! Thanks Best Buy !

works great and was simple to install. Bends easily during installation

Who wants to crawl back behind the dryer and hook this up? Not me. I don't know if the conventional dryer exhaust hose would connect. If I were to do it myself, I would install the dryer then the washer. That way I wouldn't have to jump on my new washer like the delivery guy did.

Very ridged minimum length is 12” away from the wall. We traded it for a different style so we could get it closer to the wall.

Our washer finally gave out after 16 years. After our Best Buy search, we found the best washer, dryer, and accessories to bring us to modern times. We now have the most efficient, environmentally safe, and economically smart way to do laundry.

The old vent hardware would have worked with the new dryer but was required to purchase this in order to have BB install. You may not need it if you already have a dryer, and are installing yourself. Bit it did work
