This vent is the right part for almost all standard dryer hookups. It's the right metal, won't catch fire like certain cheap "tin-foil" or vinyl vents. I definitely recommend replacing what you have with this just for safety's sake.

Purchased this ductwork to go along with our new dryer since the existing ductwork was in bad shape. The Best Buy installation crew installed this for us and has been working efficiently.

It was a good product. It stretched pretty far which was good because my vent had to be put pretty far from the dryer because of an access point. I used every inch of it.

it was great that best buy made sure that i had everything i needed to hook up the washer and dryer when it was delivered.

I purchased a new dryer and knew immediately I needed to change out the old dryer tube. This kit come complete with clamps and 2 different 90 bends that could hook up anyway you liked. Very nice kit

I bough a new washer/dryer. I figured it is good time to install and new, clean dryer vent. That way I know there are no leaks and the vent is clean, so the chances of a fire are much less.

Best Buy asked me to rate this. I am not really sure how to rate a non–appliance. I guess the best I can do is say it is a necessary part to make the dryer work. Dryers need a vent kit and it was the part recommended by my salesman who by the way was awesome.

I actually didn't order this item, at least I didn't see it on my order summery, maybe a freebie for the lack of first delivery or notification that it was rescheduled. Either way, free or paid for I am in love with the washer and dryer.

Many similar products but made it easy to get everything at the same time. Works fine but be careful as the edges could be a little sharp if careless.

A required purchase if having dryer installed. Works as intended - although due to rigidness it tends to vibrate if touching anything while in operation - thus the 4 stars. Otherwise it works as intended.

I bought this because it was recommended with the dryer. I assume it would have worked fine but the delivery men stated it was not needed since I had one in place already from my previous dryer.

what it is designed for- but I didn't need it and failed to return it. Better than plastic for sure.

Had to get a new dryer vent with the new dryer. The old one was 20 years old. Dryer vents sure have come a long way. I really like the 90 degree angle for installation.

Clean dryer vents are essential to good operation of a dryer and to reduce risk of fire. Rather than re-use your existing vent which will still have lint no matter how hard you try to clean, replace it with this vent to be sure you are starting out clean and safe.

This came as part of the Best Buy dryer install. The installers did a great job and showed us how to keep this vent clean and lint free - recommending checking it every 6 mos for build up. I recommend!
