It came with the machine. Air vents from the machine out the house. It sits behind the dryer out of sight.

This vent is required for installation of the dryer and it seems to be perfectly functional. It is safe because it's metal.

It was great to be able to get all the extra parts and accessories from Best Buy for our new appliances. I was glad I didn't have to make a special trip to a home improvement store.

Maybe there are no other options, but this vent hose forces the appliance to sit about six inches from the wall. My previous (box type) vent hose took about 2 inches less.

Having seen the damage caused by a clogged, plastic dryer vent in causing a house fire, this is an excellent solution!Besides, Best Buy will only install your dryer if they provide a rigid or semi-rigid dryer vent!Which is a good thing!

It is our understanding that this system is far more superior to the one I previously had. I was told that, due to the construction, this particular system allows for little or no lint to be trapped, become thick and buildup in the pipe---posing a fire hazard.

Bought this for the gas dryer. It is made of good quality material. The ends of the vent hose are round and the hook up on the wall in the house is oval. So, I will have to buy an adapter for that. Otherwise, great product.

The vent was hooked up but had to be bent to push the dryer back. Not sure how well it was venting. I pulled the dryer out to hook up the water hose for steam and discovered it was bent. I should take it back.

Dryer vent has been working great since installation. We haven't had any problems since it was installed, with no collection of lint.

We purchased a new dryer vent for our new dryer. We had a little trouble since we had less space to install it, but the installers were able to find a way to do it. We are happy with the new vent.

This kit was required for the dryer installation, so I didn't have any other choice but buying it with my new dryer. It's expensive compared to other one from a different site.

Returned the this part as it was not needed. It was the same as what was there.

This kit mad hooking up the dryer a breeze. Nice 90 degree angles and the rigid duct stays its shape when you are pushing dryer into location. Clamps keep the duct secured to the vent and dryer.

I have a small laundry room with a door that opens into the side with the washer/dryer. This hose was rigid enough to make it very difficult (I failed) to bend it up into the little space between the back wall and the dryer. The best I could do was to have it sit about 6" off the wall, which blocked the pathway a bit more than I wanted. Went and bought the cheap, crinkled reynolds' wrap flexible hose and it worked much better. Dryer is now about 2" from the wall, and flush with the washer next to it. Looks beefy and durable. It just didn't work well for my application...

The 1st dryer quit working after 1 use. the 2nd pair of delivery personnel were in a hurry and did not put the clamps on. You guessed it, I had to reinstall it myself. They were in a hurry and I just wanted them out of my house. Rude! Product is well constructed.

This 8/18 installers knew you to connect this device. The others who came In July damaged It
