The kit fit the dryer and extended as long as I needed it to but did not fit my wall vent. My vent was smaller than the mount. Right now it is taped with some kind of metal heat tape. The installer told me to go buy a reducer attachment.

It's really rigid and sturdy. We moved the dryer around some to position it where we wanted it and this never bent, creased or any other issue.

This dryer vent kit gives you everything you need to install it to your dryer. Comes with the flexible line, 2 elbows so if your dryer come straight out or goes to the left goes to the right and the hose clamps to tighten each end down.

I got my Mom a new dryer. The old vent was at leat 10 years old and we'd neglected to clean it. The new design and making a mental note to do the maintenance gives me some peace of mind and reminds me to pay attention to safety.

Our old dryer bent was some kind of plastic material and seems to catch the lint which probably could have become a fire hazard. This unit was corrrectly installed by the Best Buy Installation team and stays put between the dryer and the outside vent.

First thing i noticed about this vent kit compared to my old one was how rigid it was. This also caused an issue in that my dryer and washer now sits out further from the wall as compared to my old washer/dryer. No issue with the installation.

I had a leaky dryer hose installed in my previous dryer. It made the laundry room BLAZING HOT!!! This thing vents out the hot air as it is suppose to. So well, that I don't even notice it and take it for granted.

Came with the washer and dryer package.. I would recommend making sure delivery crew properly installs the item.. Seemed the crew was more in more of a rush, and didn't like to be supervised. The product seems reliable, delivery and install... Not as much.

Definitely recommend metal over plastic version of a dryer vent hose.

When you’re purchasing your new washer and dryer always always always investigate and get the proper vent kit for your dryer hook up. These are so much better than flexible hoses.

Withis dryer vent hose I was able to get my new dryer closer to the wall than with my old one.

I'm not sure we actually used this but my hubby was interested in making sure everything was new and in good condition when we switched W/D.

We had issues with the depth of the dryer and it would have been nice if it would have given just a little more. The dryer fits fine in the space, but the vent kept the door from closing by just an eighth of an inch.

Part of a purchase of a new washer & dryer, when our old dryer stopped working. Best Buy had the best price match program The rigid vent is kind big - so the dryer sticks further out from the wall than previous one.

THE DELIVERY GUYS HOOKED THIS UP WHILE THEY WERE HERE. SEEMS TO WORK FINE. I JUST WISH IT WASN'T AS RIGID AS IT IS SO THAT I COULD PUSH MY DRYER BACK .

This item was required for new dryer purchase Delivery was earlier than expected but that was a plus since the delivery time was a two hour window. Setup for the dryer was fast and very efficient. Much impressed 5 stars!!!

It’s a must to buy this especially when it’s your first dryer and even if you had a dryer before if you getting a new dryer you should get new pieces
