neat vent

I had hoped to be able to use it instead of the old flexible dryer vent hose since it wouldn't crush like vent hose. Note: no clamps are included in the box.

Vent hose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My vent didn’t have a hose attached, so I needed to buy this when I bought the dryer. It attaches the vent in the wall to the back of the dryer and it appears to be working fine.

Required for purchase/install

When delivered, electrician said they were not needed, and I should return for refund. I did so without hassle. Dryer works just fine, and return was smooth. Thanks for great customer service at store.

Would of liked the choice of picking my own or just keeping my old one. But this one hasn't had any problems though.

But I guess the installers didn't feel like doing it that way. Oh wells.

But the Geeks told us to take it back to the store for a credit, which was easy and hassle-free.

Not 100% happy with the installation...

We have limited space in our laundry room - especially behind the appliances. The vent hose is made of thicker, stiffer stuff than the old flexible hoses, and is about 8' long when stretched out. The installer told us he was not allowed to cut it, so we now have 8' of hose twisted and folded in about a 10" space behind the dryer. STUPID! Now i have to call someone to come out and trim this down to a reasonable length. (I'm 67 and long past climbing over appliances in tight spaces!) Probably should have given even less than 3 stars. I recommend this only because it's required with the installation of the dryer.
