I made a comment when purchasing my W/D about the vent tube. Without saying anything the salesperson added this to my bill. Didn’t realize it until i got my W/D delivered. Feel I probably could’ve saved money and got something that fit better somewhere else. This is a one size fits all unit with poor instructions.

When buying my washer and dryer, this dryer vent kit brand/model appeared to be the only option for me (through Best Buy). It was easy to install though, and I don't believe I'll have any problems with it.

I think its was wrong that all they guve the installers is 8ft. I had to go out and buy more so it would reach. Best buy should supply them with longer ones.

You need something like this whenever you set up a new dryer. This setup definitely does the job, but feels a little cheap compared to some previous ones I've used/seen. The included tape also was a wee bit short.

This would work if you have space behind the machine. We needed to return this as we did not have space behind out washer and the wall. Needed to get a low clearance, narrow-adjustable vent fro our application.

This set has the connectors we needed. The accessories can be pricy, but they also avoid you having to drive to the store and buy more parts! Lots of parts left over

What can I say it’s a dryer hose. Nothing to get too excited about. It certainly needed to have a proper working dryer hose.

It metal and it fits and its pricey but it works, i mean if it didn't work why would they tell you that you need?

A little misleading with the "required" title for this product. Yes you do need a vent tube but the dryer instructions (for LG) actually specify to use as few of elbows as possible and this kit comes with 2 so you are paying for stuff you don't need and is technically not recommended. I ended up just using the flexible tube and no elbows and could have just saved money buying it from another big box store.

The length of the kit may not be enough if the dryer is stacked on top of the washer.

Was required to purchase a new vent when we chose to have best buy install our new dryer. There is no option to reuse an old vent for a new dryer install. So far the vent works as it should. No leaks or issues.

I really liked this dryer vent kit but with the dryer couple inches in depth larger than my old dryer I could not use this kit. I had to install myself and get another kit to install. This hose was not flexible.

A must have accessory for a new dryer. Great quality and a perfect length. Fit perfectly and securely on both the dryer and outside vent pipe.

The professional installers were unable t use this item because of the location of my vent. Not their fault or the fault of the product. They returned it to Best Buy and they refunded my money without any problem.

It works. The only downside is that all new homes seem to use in-wall dryer boxes that have an oval connection. An adapter for oval to round will be ideal. Otherwise, it works.
