Difficult to Install, but easy to manipulate

8' too short

It's a vent hose

banged over the head by best buy

I only needed about 6 inches to a foot. but had to buy this so they would install the drier. And they only have this one size. thanks BB for NOT giving me options and shoving this 8 ft. unecessary length down my throat. I could have installed it myself but it was too late. so, if you can install the drier yourself, purchase the plug and drier vent at home depot or somewhere else and save some $$$

Great xmas gift for my kids
