Had to buy another and really glad that I did. Got a plastic vent for $8.00 at Menards and love it. Even looks better and was easier to work with.

Ehhhh, be aware of space

This may not be a problem from some but my laundry room connects to the garage and the door barely does not hit the dryer, so I will have to switch to a softer hose.
