Love nest products. The nest protects I have works great. It tells you exactly where the smoke area it’s coming from right through the app on your phone. So convenient.

Nest smoke alarms seem to be great! Haven’t had them go off yet but they are elegant and can be co trolled with an app. Best of all no batteries and climbing ladders in the middle of the night . Installers were very professional and efficient. Only complaint was it took awhile to obtain the product.

Justin did a great job. He was knowledgeable and really cared that the installation went well. The only issue was not related to Justin but the prep work before the visit and getting the account set up completely. I don’t think I received the instructions from Best Buy to set up the Nest account. It took 2 days to get the welcome email which Justin needed to be sure set up was finished.

The Technician who installed my smoke detector did a wonderful job. He was very professional and respectful. I even asked him to checked my old smoke detector to see if it was in good working condition and was happy to check it for me. Much appreciated. Thanks!

The tech who came out to perform the install was not a Best Buy employee. Best Buy Geek Squad outsources work to another company. Knowing what I know now, I should have hired an electrician to do this type of install. Doesn't have to be a master electrician but just someone who knows their way around electrical wiring behind the walls - esp if your home was built before the 2000's. I purchased several nest protect units installed to replace the old wired units that did not have Wi-Fi capabilities. We ran into issues during the work but I just couldn't take more troubleshooting from the technician. We had to cut the power for the entire house and I was just ready for our AC turned back on in the hot summer afternoon.

It is the best choice for our hard wired smoke detectors. It was an easy install and all worked well with a smooth transition.

The installer arrived early & installed the CO/Smoke detectors correctly & quickly. He texted in advance & called, as well. Recommended service.

Excellent home installation experience. Two Geek Squad employees came on time, surveyed the task, and went right to it. They always adhered to protecting my floors by using protective footwear covers, and always cautious with use of ladders and tools.
