Well I m a big drag racing fan from back in the day I remember those cars as a kid u have to appreciate what the snake and the mongoose did they are legendary to the drag race community when u see them or the cars u remember as a kid all those good times especially if you are a hot wheels fan. Im really glad this movie came out . It was fun watching I hope they come out with more , there is alot more great drivers out there even today like Kenny Bernstein, Big Jim Dunn, John Force, all these guys all all part that era . Snake and the mongoose will live forever

I knew the basic story of these racers and had always been a little fuzzy about what the WHOLE story was. The movie, I think, was very good at filling in the gaps. The casting was very good. The actor who played Prudhomme, I thought had a great resemblance . Overall, a good but not great movie for someone who has at least a passing interest in racing and/or entrepreneurship.

As an ex drag racer I found this movie bringing back a lot of fun filled memories. I can relate to what went on with Don and Tom. The endless travel, working on the cars, expenses, etc. It did bring back a lot of fun filled memories; the highs from winning, the fans, and fellow racers. I am really glad I have a good surround sound system. It was almost like being there. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is interested in drag racing (in fact I have did that)

this is an excellent movie for any racing fan, and has a story that even my wife enjoyed , just not all racing . it gave me a good look at how racing was back in the 70's , great footage from race tracks ,like LIONS, which is now closed . it also gave the low down on how Mattel got there names on the side of these funny car, i think any one would enjoy this dvd . a great price from best buy

This was an awesome movie. Great for any diehard drag racing fan. I would recommend this movie to anyone who remembers what it was like back in the day before cubic dollars took over the sport! Was not able to see this movie in my area when it came out in the theaters so this was a good deal!

The Snake and Mongoose was much better than I was expecting. The merger of vintage drag racing video with new footage meshed well together. The storyline was compelling. A must see for the drag race fan.

This is a great movie about the legends of Drag Racing and the evolution of the Funny Car. These two were such great showmen and their match racing was intense. This is especially awesome if you were there!!! Highly Recommended

Have raced all my life and I know most all of the characters. It is nice to see this kind of movie done to document two individuals who influenced and great sport

I was a huge fan of the Snake & Mongoo$e when I was a kid. This was very enjoyable because of this fact.

This DVD let us know the life of two race car drivers would only recommend this if you like drag racing

This movie will take you back to a time when car racing was fun and not a mega franchise.

Often difficult to recreat an era but this was well done.Ithoroughlyy enjoyed watching this move and will probably watch it again.

This is a great movie! It gives a good depiction of early drag racing.

Overall a good watch if you are drag race fan. Pretty hard for a movie like this to capture the true essence of the sport. Has some cheesy, but the actual story is a pretty one.

The video was not what I thought it was going to be. I'm sure racing fans would enjoy it. But for the price it was ok.
