This toy has had the Green U8 Motor Control Module box replaced twice. The first time it was a defect right out of the box and i called the company and left them Multiple messages and eventually once i got a hold of a real person, they did replace the part with a new one that unfortunately only lasted 2 months with just a few times of use. You can smell the Resistors Burned out inside the Green U8 Motor Control module. Sadly it cost $40.00 to replace that one part that is broken online and this whole toy cost a little over $50.00 dollars here on bestbuy brand new, so its pointless to pay $40.00 for just that component part alone. I Cannot Recommend this toy because of that Faulty motor Control Module. Everything else works though so the actual motors on each side are 100% fine its just the box that controls the forward and backwards movement. I may be able to fix it my self if i can safely pry open the box and replace the resistors that burned out but i dont want to break the box and not be able to put it back together. Im very disappointed with this toy and bestbuy does NOT offer a warranty for it either. So that wasnt even an option at check out when i placed my order for it. Maybe they know about this issue and dont want to lose money, i wouldnt either. So please take my advice and just skip this brand all together it is a great idea and my son loved it while it worked its just too bad it has faulty conponents in it.
