The company’s customer service is requiring us to take a video of the batteries on the charger to prove they don’t take a charge, give them the serial numbers for each battery and provide the receipt in an email before doing anything. They are requiring us to mail back the heavy batteries as well. It appears this is a common problem with this product. Best Buy should not be selling this product and should give a credit back to anyone making this purchase with such a poor track record

The FIRST time use was great.

Cheapest way to get spare batteries

Heavy wet snow will not be thrown more than a metre or two. I bought this one on sale because it was the cheapest way to get a second set of batteries for my 96 volt two stage snowjoe snow blower.

Dead Batteries

I purchased this item in February 2024. Immediately out of the box, one of the batteries wouldn't work. I called customer service, and was told they are out of stock and will notify my once in stock. I never heard back from them, until I called them again in September. Sent them proof of purchase, and they sent me a used dirty battery that started to smoke and almost caught fire when I tried to charge it. To make a very long story short, they sent me 3 more replacement batteries in all between October and December, and they were all used, dirty, and would not work. Each time they sent me a replacement battery, I had to take the previous battery to a recycling center and provide them with pictures proving I was recycling the battery before they would send me a new one. Through this whole ordeal, I have nearly 100 emails, and countless calls with customer service, and to add insult to injury, the 3 working batteries that originally came with the unit now won't take a charge and have stopped working also. Save yourself the headache, and buy from a reputable brand. If you search online, you'll see many others who have had similar experiences with their defective batteries. I wish I would have taken a few minutes to do some research before buying this thing. Hopefully this review helps someone from making the same mistake I made.

Need To Make Sure Batteries Work Before Shippi g

If the battery would charge I would have given this a 5 star but without being able to get the battery working I cannot give this a 5 star. I have other items from this company anc never had a pro lem. I contacted customer service and they are trying to help so I will wait and see if they will replace ple battery if so this is a great item so I will wait and see what happens. I would d recommend this if all the batteries work.

I open it brand new in the box. Purchase it from Best Buy berries cannot charge call customer service. They said they’re gonna send me a new charger send a new charger won’t charge. Where is bad. So if you purchase it for this winter, you might use it for next winter until they send you all the defect parts replacement good luck.

One was dead. Called manufacturer couldn’t get a replacement since they were back ordered. Best buy customer service was great. They arranged for pick up and sent a replacement. Ups picked it up the next day and got the replacement a few days later. This time I went for the batteries and the second one was dead. I didn’t bother testing the other two. Called bestbuy and got it picked up and got my money back. I looked at other reviews on the internet and others had the same problem.
