The movie was entertaining if you watch it realizing it is a B Movie. Acting not bad but plot is typical.

To tell if it's a good movie is when you stay awake through the whole thing! Well I stayed awake!

it's something to think about if your stuck on a train for a long time

Heard a lot of good things about this movie. Wasn't overly impressed. Simply another "people who have nothing revolt against the people who have everything and a lot of violence occurs" type of story. Nothing to really set it apart from others.

1000 people left. All of them inside a steel box that goes on a path where the loop starts again every 365 days. The people in the back are the poor the people up front are the privileged. I went into this skeptical, how can you make a movie that takes place inside of a train. The director makes it work and soon into the movie the oppressive confines of the train become a huge part of it and make the story that much better. Is it a little implausible? yes... But don't let that take away from the superb directing and storytelling. The subtle and not so subtle political commentaries in this movie are very well done and you can watch the movie many times to see things you might have missed the first time through. I think this could be up for best picture.

A few months ago I never heard of this film. It was recommended by a friend who enjoyed scifi movies as much as I do so I gave it a watch. It's the best movie that you've never heard of. It was a nice change from cookie cutter sci-fi movies, almost as interesting as Looper. Some of the effects were a little low budget at points but I urge you to check this film out!

The scenery is stark and haunting, the storyline predictable but a few inspired performances make it worth the watch.
