I was disappointed that after a month my 109.00 earbuds don't work anymore. Can best buy have them fixed? I suppose that would be more costly than a new one! Oh well start looking again for some good earbuds

The part that goes around the neck is too short. It falls off easily. Sounds like you're in a fish bowl when you are using as a bluetooth for phone calls.

The fact that the buds don’t contract or have a storage place on the neckpiece is super inconvenient, the buttons press if I tilt my head and the connection distance required is very small.

Did not like this set. It slips off my neck with out even realizing it. Because I turn my head, it shifts to the front then eventually falls.

This product would not work with my Samsung phone. The music I would stream would be choppy and drove me crazy. The headset was only 3' feet away from my phone and still had the issues.

I purchased them for my husband and while he loved them at first they don't have a great battery life. They also have a horrible mic and the feedback is staticky.

I love Sol Republic. They bring out a sound quality for people that want the sound of the Beats headphones for a fraction of the price. I've owned/own: Sol Republic Tracks HD, 2 QuietComforts, 4 different Beats headsets, V-Moda, Sennheiser, Jaybird, etc. I'm not an audiophile, per-se, but... I do want a pretty balanced sound that's more on a bass heavy side. Reason I'm giving this intro is because I'm not knocking on Sol... rather, showing that I've actually tested multiple sets without giving a "glowing" or "bad" review. IF YOU'RE HOPING TO USE THESE HEADSETS FOR ANY ACTIVITIES.... DON'T BUY THEM. Sad to say... brought them to the gym yesterday and i'm an active lifter. Bench presses with HIIT in between sets.. not once was I able to have the headset stay in place. whether it be while laying down on the bench (obviously, they're not going to stay in place because it wraps around your neck)... but, the thing that ticked me off even more was the fact that I would sometimes turn off the headset as a whole because I was laying on the MF (multi-function) button. I'm not putting the bar away to turn my headphones back on.... so i would just finish my set in silence... and that's just messed up. Secondly, Sol claims (and praises) they're using the new aptX Bluetooth technology. It tends to cut in and out (and I have an iPhone 6 plus - so it's a newer phone as opposed to a phone from like 3-4 years ago) of broadcasting either Pandora or Podcasts, randomly throughout playback.... not impressed. Even wearing it while driving and i turn my head for blind spots, the neck band will tend to get tugged to one side... The thing that makes me sad is that they sound fantastic (when working). The drives are built for sound.. great bass.. well balanced.. gets loud. So, if you're only using these for normal use of sitting down, traveling, any non-activities... i could recommend them. Otherwise, stay away. I will be going back to the PowerBeats2 and return these after 1 full day of use.

The Shadow doesn't vibrate on incoming calls, and the ear bud cables don't retract as a Sales Person said they did. I probably would not buy another pair.

This Bluetooth device occasionally disconnects. Not sure why. You need to restart it to reconnect. I used it on laptop and phones, it acts same way.

    Incredible Earbuds

These wireless headphones are amazing, let me tell you how I know. I recently got the Power Beats 2 as a gift and the only good thing about them was that they were comfortable on your ear and would not fall off if you were working out. Sound was absolutely horrible. I have better sound from a set of wired headphones from 1984. Absolutely no bass at all, when I say none I mean none, you can barely hear the bass drum hit. I returned these for the JBL Reflect BT. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of these wireless headphones, the sound was clean and clear, good bass tone. The only draw back was the ear tips, they are very poorly designed. I could not get them to fit my ear properly to seal out any sound. The key to getting good sound from ear buds in they have to have a good seal in your ear or the sound will be lost. I returned these for the Sol Republic Shadow and was expecting something to be wrong with these as well after two failed attempts. I was reserved to thinking that wireless ear buds will not have the same sound quality as wired ear buds. WOW was I wrong, I was not expecting anything like what I heard coming from these ear buds. I have had a lot of headphones and ear buds and otherwise over the years and these take the cake. I knew from the moment that I put them in my ear that they were outstanding. The ear tips fit perfectly in your ear and seal out 80% of external sound. My wife was talking to me and I could not hear her, this from ear buds and this was before I had music playing. The sound is so crisp and clear and the bass is outstanding. They sound like over the ear head phones. I am absolutely blown away with the sound. They are very comfortable and seem to be very stable on your neck. If you are looking for quality wireless ear buds look no further, get these, you will not be disappointed.
