Bye By Beats!

Had Beats Studio for a few years. They're heavy, very bulky and hurt my ear if I wore them too long.
The Sol Republic wireless are simply the best headphones I've ever had! Light, comfortable, great sound. And oh yes: they're WIRELESS!!! A God-send at the gym and when travelling.
I gave my Beats to my oldest daughter but I have three kids and they all were asking me for a new set of Sol Replublic wireless headphones.

I had to return the headphones once because the sound went out completely on the left side within a month. I wear them maybe 2-3 times a week and expected them to last longer than that for the price I paid. Now my replacement is starting to do the same thing! Very aggravating!

I love my Tracks Air. Use them all the time. Comfortable. Sound really good. Battery life is great. And the wireless freedom is amazing. I've had them for about 6 months. Not one complaint.

I heard of Sol Republic from the Olympics with Michael Phelps and I have the v10 pair as well. This pair is way better in my opinion. First off, the bluetooth is very helpful because I can go freely with these headphones on without worrying about the cord. Also I feel the sound quality is slightly better than the v10. The battery life is about 13-15 hours like advertised but the range is a little less. When you are indoors, it is about 50-75 feet because all of the walls and such but outside you can get a lot further.

Top Wireless Headphones @ This Price Point

I'm a big fan of SOL Republic - they make the highest quality (both durability & sound quality) at their respective price points. Regarding the Tracks Air, these are no different. For $199, they are the best sounding, best built wireless headphones you can buy.
One of the main reasons that I like them so much - other than the solid price, excellent sound and durability - is that, unlike many wireless headphones, you can actually use these with cords as well. Each sound engine features a plug so that you can use the included headphone jack cord. Why would you need to use a cord with wireless headphones? Personally, I've used my Airs at the gym (most, if not all, cardio machines don't accommodate wireless, but do allow headphone jacks). Airplanes are similar - if you want to use their in air entertainment, you'll need to plug in.

These aren't as loud as I was hoping but they are loud enough. They have good bass for the volume level. The battery life is great, I'v only had to charge them once so far, working out a few times a week for an hour or more each time. I'm very happy I bought these, especially after using low quality wired ear buds for years.

Compared to my old Beats by Dre Wireless these are much better and don't break as easily. The sound quality is much more balanced compared Beats by Dre and for the price it is also great.

Let me preference my review with I have several pairs of headphones and ear-buds. Some are expensive some are cheap. I have found you can not always count on want a tech-bloggers says about an item. I've purchased on their advice and been very disappointed. Now for my review.
I purchased these headphones for the purpose of working-out and listing to my TV (which is a HTPC). Upon taking the headphones out of the box they paired very easy. I paired the headphones with my Samsung Galaxy S2. I downloaded an EQ app (Music Volume EQ) form the Google Play Store and balanced the sound. I was very pleased with the sound! The sound is comparable with any wired headphones; however, I do which they would get a little louder. I'm sure if they were connected to a stronger source (stereo receiver) the sound would be louder.
I went to the gym and gave them a try. I turned on Pandora and placed my phone in my gym. I placed the bag against the wall and walked around the entire gym (Club Fitness). While in the gym I never lost contact nor did the headphone cut out. I walked more than 100ft from the bag and even into the restroom. The headphones also blocked out all the noise of people talking and the music being played over-head. They headphones get an "A" for performance. I returned home and paired the headphones with my LG G-Pad 8.3 (great tablet) and listened to some R&B. The headphones sounded great!
I would strongly recommend these headphones if you are looking for some wireless headphones. If not, the wired Sol Republics would do fine.

Decent headphones used at work

I got this pair of headphones when they were on promo from Motorola and Sol Republic, but Best Buy price matched the manufacturer's price. I usually only need to charge them once a week, but that's with an average of only a couple hours of use each day. They are advertised to hold 15 hours of play time, but when I first power them on at full charge they say "More than 13 hours of play time." No major complaint, I know it's an estimate, but I find it funny.
I use these headphones paired with my iPod Nano and they seem to stay paired well for the most part. Only complaint would be that if I power them off to go to break and come back to power them on, it takes at least 5 seconds for them to fully "re-pair" with the iPod. Extremely minor annoyance, does not affect my rating whatsoever.
Only other complaint is that the left speaker "connects" to the right (where the battery is) via the headband - I sometimes notice the left speaker cut out for a split second if the headband gets flexed. Should not be an issue for most people.
Overall, good headphones with good sound that can be used wired with the included cable if you are so inclined.

Will Never Go Back to Wired Headphones

This is my first pair of wireless headphones and I love them! I'm able to listen to music from my computer throughout the house. I'm no audiophile but these sound great for wireless headphones. Price is reasonable and very stylish, I highly, highly recommend!
I don't have an NFC phone so I can't speak to that functionality but pairing them with bluetooth is easy enough. Have had a little trouble switching between my phone and computer. Have to turn off bluetooth on one to get the other to work. Think I just need more time with them.
Have had for a week and I love these.

I 100% love these headphones. They work perfect with my Windows Phone. I had read some reviews that they were not loud enough, but I cannot say the same. I have yet to turn them on full blast and they totally drown out the obnoxious music at the gym. The ability to plug in is perfect for flights. I have nothing at all bad to say about these. Worth every penny.

So I could not wait for these to go on sale and spent the $199 to give the wireless headphones a try. I've been using the Sol Republic V12's up until this point, but wanted to be rid of the wire when I run. I have to admit the sound quality is almost as good and the wireless features work extremely well. If you're looking for a nice pair of wireless headphones these would be a great option. Hopefully you can find them on sale in the next few months.

Amazing headphones at an Amazing Price!

These headphones are amazing. You can't go wrong with the price. On one full charge, it lasted me a week before I charged it again. Mind you, I listen to my Sol Republics at least 2 hours a day. The range is really good. I can walk around my house and still hear everything. It starts to crackle around 40 feet. The only downfall I can find is that, If you have these wired to your laptop that is not Bluetooth, you may forget that it is wired up and pull the wire when trying to get up. Happened to me a few times. Oh, and it does not leak noise like Souls or Beats. Does not Leak at all.
PS: please don't listen to the person that gave it one star. I think he is trying to troll or something. Read his review, it really does not make any sense.

I purchased these on the Sol Republic website. They are definitely worth $200 I have tried the Audio Technica ATH-M50's, Master Tracks and the Sony MDR7506's and these are the best I've used. These headphones have great build quality and amazing sound quality.

These are stylish with great battery life but lack in sound quality. I've had off brand headphones that produce a wider sound stage and crisper sound. The volume on these are also fairly low at max setting.
