Mids Too Weak, Bass Too Strong

These are my third pair of headphones, and my first pair of wireless cans. In all honesty, I love these headphones due to their unique design and amazing specs such as 15 hour batt life and 150 ft connectivity, though I got nowhere past 70 ft. The sound was very warm and it was nice, but whenever I used them to listen to more chill music, the music felt empty to me, though the bass was overly accentuated. Not the aspect of sound I necessarily want to hear when I'm listening to acoustic music. All in all, I liked it, but I would've loved it even more if there were more mids, it was more balanced, and if they were also over ear cups instead of on ears. on ears always tend to hurt ears when worn for a long time. Not bad for wireless cans though!!!

I love this headphone more than anyother that I've ever used. It has a strong, yet not overpowering bass, and a perfect balance of treble and mid. I'd recommend this in a heartbeat!

    Disapointed

disappointed in these, was expecting very good sound and bass, the sound was not too bad but they have little bass. Previously had the Tracks HD, these sound similar to them but the Tracks HDs have more bass. And the headband cushion started to peel off the headband after bending the headband a little. Gonna return them and try the Master Tracks and Skullcandy Crushers

Good for simple usage: Advanced features are broke

First - the good: * Sound quality is decent. * Very snug * Battery is amazing (13 hour charges!) Now, the terrible (and why I returned these) * The "multi-point" feature does NOT work Windows 7/8. So if you're planning on getting these to connect to your PC -and- your phone: forget about it. I called their support and they had me go through the typical power-down/reset cycle/re-pair (which I had already tried)- but for whatever reason Windows refuses to share this device with any other device. Tried on 3 different PCs. All had updated bluetooth drivers (one had a brand new BT ver. 4). The problem is undoubtedly with the default drivers windows loads for the audio, but with no official "Sol Republic" drivers- the origin of the problem is moot. * If you plan on getting these for PC exclusively- be advised: the sound is horrid. The lows come ok but anything above a certain frequency has an annoying crackle that will make your ears bleed. Disappointing because the iPhone audio is great. * These will not play while charging, at least, not with a BT connection. You can plug them in directly as advertised, but I suggest you get an additional cord if you're planning on doing that, as the one provided is only about 3 feet. And really, who wants 2 cords dangling from their head while on a computer? Come on. Use while charging seems like a pretty basic feature. * The removable cannons are a gimmick. The fit is extremely snug when you take them out of the box, but there's literally no other mechanism holding them onto headband other than spring loaded slide leads. Give this a good year of usage and I can assure you, these things will be loose and ready to fall off the bands. Again- these are probably good for someone who wants to listen to tunes with their mobile device.. But I can't help but feel there are plenty of better sounding/performing options for the price. I really wouldn't recommend these for anyone other than someone who wants to give the illusion that their super trendy. They certainly *look* cool.

    Not good enough

I wanted to like these but after twenty plus days of use they just can't get loud enough with a portable device. It is like being the lower end of a wireless headphone. The Beats Wireless Studio Headphones are so much better. However you are paying almost twice as much for the Beats.
