Checked them out at the store display at SAMs Club. I could have gotten them cheaper. I wanted to purchase the beats wireless solo2 but we're too expensive. These will work for now and have a great sound. Wish they came included with all the color head bands to change out.

Great head phones. Base is pretty strong. and they are pretty tight around the ears. But they don't allow any sound to come in because of the tight suction on the ears. Cord is annoying. I shoulda got the wireless but they weren't in stock.

SOL REPUBLIC headphones are just overall GREAT HEADPHONES!! Bought these headphones for half the price-- A SUPER, GREAT PURCHASE that is ideal for working out and comfortable when on a multiple hours plane ride!!!

I've owned these for a few weeks now, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with these headphones. They fit well, the sound quality is superb and would rival that of more expensive headphone in its class. I especially like that the parts are replacement parts available in-store should the headband and/or cable gets damaged. Overall, if you are looking for a lesser expensive, but good quality headphones, Check out Sol Republic.

Purchased for my young son and he loves the product. Price was much lower than other products that deliver the same qualify.

These are the first pair of headphone I have ever bought outside of buying simple earbuds. For the price I think you are getting great quality and durability. The sound is great and I can definitely zone out when I put them on and I don't want to be bother with the noise around me.

My son wanted some Beats. We were not OK with the high price tag and I was not impressed with the sound quality. A salesperson at BestBuy suggested we try SOL headphones. My son actually liked them better and they fit his 12 year old head better. They also fit my big head comfortably so they're adaptable. The headband itself is nearly indestructible which is great for an active kid who can quickly forget how to take care of good stuff. I highly recommend them.

If you're looking for a pair of headphones that are relatively cheap and have good quality, these are for you.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY PHOTOS OVER TO THE RIGHT I was incredibly excited to grab these after trying them out in the store. I tried the HDs but figured these were close enough. Still loved the sound, but there was one thing bugging me.... When i looked at the cans (speakers) i couldn't help but notice an awkward purple shine to them. I thought they were going to be all black and the purple just bugged me. I loved these but the color bugged me so i simply went in and exchanged for the HDs because they are aluminum. To most people it wouldnt be a big deal, but I wanted to let people on here know so that they could check them out and judge for themselves. Hopefully this helps!! PS - the images were taken from a review at reviews.cnet.com (and yes, its a review of the "BLACK" version) this is the purple tint im talking about. not as noticeable in real life, but this is a good demonstration.

Great priece, sound quality and comfort. Cannot best for the priece. Recommend to everyone. Ordered online and picked them up at my local store. When I arrived at the store, the order was ready and did not experience any delay.

These headphones are a great value! Awesome sound and ambient noise isolation. I like the option of being able to customize them. They are flexible and durable, Much better value than some of the more well-known brands. Buy a pair, you'll love them.

Purchased these headphones for their durability so they wouldn't break with repeated use, and because the headband is replaceable. These were both good but the cord strength was horrible, breaking twice. We exchanged these twice within one week, and finally gave up, returning them for good and getting a different headphone where the cord wouldn't break.

Ignore the hype...skip over "Beats" and get value for your money.

Very good sound. Unfortunately I can't wear them for too long. They squeeze my head to the point it gets painful.

Sounds alot better than beats and I am very satisfied.
