Never have to charge my ring camera since installing this! My batteries are consistently 100% charged with this. So easy to install.

Solar Charger is a Another Great thing to buy with the Cams. The battery will always be charged at 100% so no need to worry about getting on a ladder to remove the battery to get it charged and then going back on the ladder to put the battery back even if it’s doing it twice a year. Once you install it you forget about charging the batteries ever again, the Sun will take care of keeping it charged at 100% all the time. The length of the cable that connects to the back of the Cam is 13 feet long.

This is the best camera that I have had for outside. If you use the Solar Pan the camera will keep going without having to recharge a battery since the solar panel charges the battery constantly. I now have four around the outside. They all work great. No wires to run. Just 4 screws to install the Spotcam and 2 screws to mint the Solar panel. Long cord so you can put the solar panel wherever the most sun is while placing your camera where you want it. Highly recommend both.

We've been using this solar panel with a Ring Spotlight Cam for the past 18 months. Installed and hooked it up and it's been trouble free from day one. We purchased our first one in January 2020. We've since added various Ring products and decided to add a second Spotlight camera and solar panel in May 2021. Most of the time, our weather is humid and we live where it can be quite rainy. Still holding up and sure beats manually removing and charging the battery! Love this product.

At first I was skeptical if this would be enough to keep my battery charged on my Ring camera due to the fact that the camera was pointed towards the street and constantly being triggered but I was tired of climbing a ladder to recharge the battery. Since installing the panel, I haven’t had recharge even once.

Note, that this version does not work with Stick-up cam or floodlight cam. My panel faces south and gets several hours of daylight and has no problem keeping my spotlight cam battery charged at over 95%. Great for locations without access to power such as the eve of my house. Very easy to install and a long cord to allow placement where you need it.

Ring Solar Panel for Stickup Cam

The solar panel appears to be well made and durable. It keeps my Stickup Cam charged to 100% nearly all the time even with time lapse and frequent motion detection turned on. Even after several cloudy and rainy days, the solar panel quickly tops off the Stickup Cam battery. In my setup, during winter (if Florida winter qualifies as actual winter) the solar panel only receives about four hours of direct sunlight.

This is a must have if you have a Ring outdoor camera. Without the solar power panel, you would have to recharge the batteries every 2-3 months. The batteries are great too but having this solar panel makes life so much easier. No need for any batteries if you have this solar panel. It’s not very big either and does not stick out like a sore thumb. Easy mounting too.

I have had the Solar Panel for Ring Spotlight Cam Battery and Stick Up Cam Battery for over two years now. Love it for the convenience. The camera it’s connected to is on top of my patio. Saves me from climbing up there the switch out the batter to charge.

My Ring Solar Panel works well. I have not had to worry about the battery dying for months now. Even with dark winter days and weather the solar panel keeps my batteries charged on my cameras. Definitely the way to go.

    Hooray for sunshine!

Had to buy a special mount to be able to install on my siding but has been working great. Had my camera from 27% (which even with constantly being set off by cats and neighborhood kids playing took 2 months to get down to) up to 100% in just just a few short hours of sunlight and keeps it at 100%. I feel confident I never have to worry about having my camera battery die or having to be without a camera by having to take a battery out to be charged literally all day.

This has been great, no more recharging battery. Our battery started only lasting a month before recharge needed. It has a VERY long cable from solar panel to camera. It even includes a cement/stucco drill bit and a screw driver. Easy to install. Might take a day or so for your ring app to say status of power is good. Love no more recharging battery!

This Ring solar panel is very easy to install and the great length of the cable affords one the ability to locate with excellent option of location. I’ve had this installed on my ring Stickup Cam since purchase and my battery is holding at no less than 99% and most often at 100%! Highly recommend this product.

Great addition to Ring Spotlight Camera

I have used a Ring Spotlight camera for the front of my house/garage area and it works perfectly. Installed it with 2 batteries fully charged. Lasted about 3.5 months before needing recharging (which still is a great time), but I am lazy. I wanted to stop getting the ladder out and climbing to the cam and taking out the batteries to recharge for hours at a time. Enter this beautiful solution to my problem. Setup was easy enough. Find a location that get hits with plenty of DIRECT sun and mount it. The wire attached to the panel to the camera is LONG, like way more then 99% of people will actually need so I ended up rolling the excess behind the panel to make it look semi-nice looking. Once pulled in, I noticed a little issue. Before in the RING app, I could click the camera then the settings (gear) icon and it will show me the battery life of both batteries and a Lightning symbol to let me know it is charging. I guess with the recent updates, it's gone. No need to fear! I can tell you, it still charges as I went from 91% to 100% by mid afternoon. If you own wireless cams, I would highly recommend going solar whenever you possibly can to make sure they will always be on and running 24/7.

I have two other solar panels for my outdoor ring setup. You just have to remember to fully charge the battery first. It will not charge it up and maintain it. Other than that, I haven't had to mess with it since installing it. Makes having to take the battery in and out and thing of the past. :)
