SOF Payback is an average game, it offers good graphics and somewhat realistic gore, but lacks in all round feel and fun. The guns shoot with an unreal recoil, levels draw out after you've beaten them, movement on your charactor isn't so smooth(except for reloading), and simply the game gets old fast. Payback does, however, offer blood and gore to those who crave it. Want limbs to rain on you, just use the granade launcher on hillside. There are nine areas that you can relocate(blow off) elsewhere on your enemy,Knees(2),Hips(2),Elbows(2),Shoulders(2), and of course the head(spatters). Other spots of the body, when shot, leave blood stains. The realistic gore kind of makes up for the many flaws Payback vouch for, as for the game freezing all the time, it never happened to me. The game isn't a great shooter but it's alright.

So this version of SOF tries something new lets make it play the same as Call of duty 4 even the same button lay out. But Sadly this game is way too slow, even the bullets seem to move slow. If your fighting around six or more guys the game slows down which really sucks! Now thing of the whole game like that you move to one zone and six guys come out all at once kill them next spot the same thing. This game made me want to stop playing it more than three times within the first two hour! Save the money and the time play Call of Duty 4

i thought this game was going to be good based on SoF1&2 but this has to be the worst game ever sure you get custom guns, but this game has 3 very long levels and terrible online play i beat this game in 4 hours. i played it for one day AND NOW I CANT EVEN SELL IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like a game from 6-7 years ago when the ps2 first came out. It has bad graphics, bad story, really glitchy and you really have to be crazy to like it. You would be better off with Call of Duty 4 or anyother game. Ive never seen a game this bad.

I was a fan of the Soldier of Fortune series but now the tides have turned. This game is the worst game that I have ever bought. I would rather take this game and use it like a clay disk and shoot it, at least then I would get some enjoyment out of it. I do not recommend this game to anyone. Save your money and go out to dinner. Just do not buy this game. If anything rent it first to see what i'm talking about. I personally would not want to spend the $8.47 plus tax to rent this game.

This game sucks so bad that I stopped playing it after the first hour. What where the creators thinking when the designed this game? The 360 graphics are great but they don't take advantage of them at all. The only thing I did enjoy was the dismemberments but that could not hold my attention! Compared to COD4 and Halo 3 it is on the atari level. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY

This game has awesome graphics and controls and shootng mechanics which makes it so much fun to shott people with your upgraded weapon and watch TONS of gore in the process.

I was a big fan of the xbox version of this game so this is by no means a bias review. This game fails in every sense of the word. I didnt move 50 feet and the game hiccupped. I played about 30 minutes and couldnt take it anymore. I traded the game off within an hour. Please rent this game before you even think of buying it.

I am by no way a pro gammer I'm below average and this game was very tough I thought I played it once and that was enough for me.

My bf uses this and is entertained for many hours. Good game for beginners because it's hard to die.

A great game, but not worth $60. Still, the damage modeling in this game is, indeed, not for the weak-stomached among us, and masochists are going to have great time. Even though I am not Jigsaw, I had a great time also.
