I was a lite hesitant to buy this unit, but I'm sure glad I did. The unit real works well and made the basement area very comfortable. The pump feature works well. I run it up about 3 feet and it drains into the sink. There is a feature that tells you to clean the filter, so all I do is get out the vacuum and vacuum off the filter. I do remove it, which makes it easier. I am very happy with this unit.

This large unit does a wonderful job controlling the amount of humidity in my basement. I have it set up with the drain tube and it runs till the humidity gets to its set point. Cleaning it is quite easy too.

The pump feature is excellent. No more clogged garden hose. The unit uses a small diameter neoprene hose combined with a pump inside the unit to pump out the water. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to dehumidify a large space.

Don't know how it will be once the humid warm weather gets here, but it's quiet. Once summer is in full swing, will know better how well it works. We went with a larger unit hoping to get more than two years out of this one.

Needee to get humidity done in a 7400 sq ft home and this item is doing a good job.

Previously we had a 90-pint unit which had the same 45 preset for basement. It ran for years in the basement pulling the humidity down to the target and shutting off. This has been running since the day I bought it and has never hit its target. Sad, very sad. I really should have shopped around for a better made unit.
