It can handle all of my work items and has plenty of space. My only suggestion is that it have 2 zippers for the main pocket so that you can access it more easily from either side. This is a minor point. I bought it for a trip and it helped me through the airport like a champ.

It has more than enough room for me to put my laptop and my iPad Pro 12.9” and all of the required accessories for everything. I could honestly fit a couple changes of clothes as well to go on a weekend trip as well.
