I think the large area of the backpack that is easy to get to maybe what decides a lot of people on this bag. It is short on individual pockets so trying to have a container for every small gadget isn’t what this is designed for but it fits my container of gadgets quite well with plenty of spare room, the laptop sleeve fits my personal laptop (17 inch), my work laptop (12 inch), and my portable second screen (15 inch) without an issue. Depending on how thick your devices are you may be able to use the pocket to fit two laptops as well. I love that it has 4 pen holders, I know this is strange, but I have three digital styluses for different devices that I have and then I like to have an ink pen too. Right next to the pen holders is a pouch that is perfect for my folding keyboard. The inside also has two thin pockets, one holds the charger for my laptop and the other holds a battery pack nicely. The tablet/folio pouch I haven’t really used, but it is there if you need it. There is a small front pocket that is perfect for a charger or phone and then the back has a semi hidden pocket on the back that seems to be designed for a passport and maybe a wallet. It has the strap to throw over your carry on which is always a nice feature. I have found this to be a perfect backpack for traveling between offices often. I can fit everything I need for a mobile setup, and then my personal laptop stuff as well.

The Solo – Code Pro Backpack is a very nice backpack that can serve many different functions quite well. The fully padded 17.3” laptop compartment is much more padded than I had anticipated and does a great job of protecting whatever valuable electronic device you may choose to transport there. If you don’t happen to be transporting your laptop or similar device, this backpack is still a great option as a general backpack. I really like the way the pockets are designed and the discrete back pocket is very unique and a cool additional feature. The internal organizer section is also a nice added touch but the true cherry on top is the built-in backstrap. This feature allows you to slide the backpack onto a luggage handle for easier transportation when traveling. I had never seen this on a backpack before but it makes so much sense and will really come in handy for me. As if all of these awesome features aren't enough, the backpack itself seems to be very well-made and is high quality which means it should hold up well over time, even with frequent use. Overall, the Solo – Code Pro Backpack is a versatile, high-quality backpack and I highly recommend it!

My old backpack that I used for many years finally gave up the ghost, so I was on the look out for another option that met the following criteria: - Room for 14 / 16" laptop - Room for iPad - Comfortable to carry - Travel Friendly The Solo backpack checked all of those items for me. The bag itself is a pretty standard size, it's not overly large like some laptop bags are, but it's also got enough room to hold what I need it to hold. My work is bringing people back into the office in a hybrid setting, and we can't leave any items at our desks overnight - so we have to be able to pack in and out whatever we need for the day. I was able to comfortably carry everything I need for my visits to the office. The straps and back of the backpack have some nice padding with cushioning to avoid feeling like the bag is weighing on you. There's also another nice feature in the back - there's a loop in the back so you can keep your backpack connected with luggage when you're traveling. In terms of build quality, the bag feels nice and sturdy. The bottom of the bag has some kind of thicker material, not sure if it's denser fabric or thin leather, but it feels soft, but durable. There's also a "hidden" pocket in the back of the backpack for more sensitive items. I typically would carry things like my wallet or AirPods in that pocket when out and about. The camo look isn't as drastic as the images make it out to be, you can really only see it if light hits it a certain way. Camo look really isn't my thing, but it's hardly noticeable. I've had coworkers ask me where I got the bag because it looks and feels as nice as a bag that costs considerably more.

Big, roomy, made well but not very structured.

Roomy enough for my Dell G16 Gaming laptop, Kindle scribe, Ipad & all cables + small tripod. If it had a bit more structure I would have given this a perfect 5 but it’s a bit soft. Great choice if that is ok.

The Solo Code Pro Structured backpack retails for about $74.99 usd. It is very light weight and the material feels quality. It has multiple compartments and numerous zippered pockets. The straps feel sturdy and easily adjustable. This backpack is big enough to tote a 17 inch laptop and has plenty of room for books, tablets, and other various items. There is a small concealed zippered pocket on the back side to to hide things while wearing the backpack. Which is pretty nifty. But there are a couple of gripes I do have about this backpack. Even though it is designed to be big enough to carry laptops, it sure doesn't feel like it is that sturdy enough to protect them. I certainly wouldn't want this backpack to take a hit nor take a fall from any height. The majority of the padding is on the back side wall. The bottom has thin padding making me a little doubtful on that protective side. Other than the fact you can tote a laptop in this bag, I found nothing really that special about this backpack for its price. Numerous zippered pockets and a couple of divisions inside and that's about it. I have to say that this backpack is average at best.
