like a lot of so called Bible stories about Christ the producers leave out this and put in that it is a shame they can't just do the Word but it is better than nothing some Word is transmuted and that never comes back empty

The movie does a decent job of explaining the life of Christ. Everything is up to a person's personal interpretation

Great movie to begin a relationship with Jesus. Jesus wants all his children to be saved and this movie is a preview of His Life.

Just my opinion, there are better movies out there than this one (let's face it, the same story can only be told so many ways). I think Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" , and "The Bible : The Epic Minseries" do a much better job telling the story both visually and through the story itself. If I could return this movie, I would, but once you open a DVD/Blu Ray, it cannot be returned unless defective and only for the same title.

Very dull at many parts. One reviewer said it best, very superficial as if watching a glamorized Sunday school lesson.

I enjoyed this movie for what it was... a remake of every other one... different cast..same story line..

a new take on the story of god and his life on earth.
