One of the top albums of all time! Their other albums are good but fall short but this album is amazing start to finish, minus the song with a bunch of useless cussing in it. No One Knows and Go With the Flow are great as well as Song for the Deaf, with its syncopated middle section. Having Dave Grohl on drums was awesome. He was so much better than he was on Nirvana albums!

I've avoided this band for a over a decade, due to the mainstream success of this album which I had attributed to their association with Dave Grohl(who I had lost interest in by the time this album came out). Looking back, that was a mistake. I'm now making up for lost time by enjoying all of their music. While this isn't my favorite QotSA album, its worth a spot in your collection if your a fan.

This is probably the album that put QOTSA on the radar for a lot of people. And for good reason. Its some of Josh Homme's best. Plus, Dave Grohl on drums, great production. It's sort of a concept record that is meant to be a road trip. A great rock record that was made at a time when a lot of other "rock bands" were making garbage. Fantastic record.

Dave Grohl on drums, enough said! Honestly, when I want to hear Queens, it's this or Era Vulgaris (my personal favorite). Songs for the Deaf was truly a game changer for Queens. The loose concept of listening to different radio stations on a drive from LA to Joshua Tree was brilliant. Buy it at Best Buy.

Jumping backwards from the latest Villains to SFTD is a bit jarring, but the evolution of their sound demonstrated by these 2 time points is what makes QOTSA and their music so fascinating. SFTD is a record of its time, as is Villians. And I enjoy them both. Can't wait to explore their other music.

Great album! Sonically rich and complex QOTSA always knock it out of the park. Great guitars and bass and tight precise rhythms from stand in Dave Grohl. Josh Hommes' clever and biting lyrics always hit their mark.

This record is one of the landmarks of alternative rock. QOTSA were not afraid to display influences not traditional to alt rock. These go from punk, to grunge, to progressive rock. Great listen.

This is the band's masterpiece. From the beginning to the end you will enjoy this one. This is the album the made me want to hear more from QOTSA. Get it, you will not be disappointed!

Sounds wonderful! CDs from Best Buy always have good sound quality. I particularly like this one!
