I bought this as a gift for my son and he's enjoyed it very much. I picked it up as a pretty good deal. I recommend it.

I used this product with no problem so far now (1 year used). My kid loved this game for a couple of weeks. It became boring quickly compared to other Wii U games.

Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed isn't the Sonic game Sega fans would really want, but when it comes to average cart racers Mario reigns supreme but Sonic comes at a close second if not third from Diddy Kong Racing back from the Nintendo 64 days. But for a cart racer on it's own, Sonic All-Stars holds up, it's a fun racer and if you're a big Sega fan, you'll probably be more awed by the race tracks and music in the game. And boy are the song selections great, of coarse when has Sega failed us on music? The gameplay is good, though if I were to ask Sega when they make the next game to allow button customization instead of the old "Alpha" or "Beta" selections of controls. When you play racers by holding on to the "A" button for years, you don't think to press the trigger (ZR) button to go at first. But eventually you do learn the controls and eventually you don't care for that anymore, but you will have to remember when you play Mario Kart to not hold the trigger. When you reach the blue rings which transforms your vehicle, you'd think there be much change, but actually the controls of the boats and planes are quite simple as the cars. Really if you got good control with the car, the boat and plane are second minded, congratulations, you can drive a car now and we give you a boat and pilot license. Game modes is nothing different. You got the Career mode which gives you single player races and missions known as the World Tour. Do the World Tour and eventually you'll unlock new characters and the harder the mission you set it, the more stars you earn. Sometimes the harder difficulty settings are fine, but then there's "those" missions that just make you just not want to put up the trouble. Note to everyone, the blue cars on traffic attack will be your worse enemy. But not all missions, some are fun like the normal races and the boost races. Moving on to Multiplayer, this is where you can play online with 11 other people with 3 game modes. Race, Battle, and a Mission race which I never really played. You'll probably just be racing mostly, which is always fun to take on others around the world. Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed has much to give, especially with guest characters "Wreck-It Ralph" and Nascar driver "Danica Patrick." And sadly as much as I want to say "Pyro, Heavy, and Spy from Team Fortress 2," I cannot include them in this review for one reason, they're PC exclusive and this game is for the Wii U. But in the end it's still Sonic Racing, just with cars, boats, and planes, kind of like Diddy Kong Racing.

As long as kids love this game... I'm happy... They absolutely love it.

This is a stellar game. I'm going to go play now. A lot of fun and a great price!

Its not Mario Kart 8 but its cool in its own way. A must buy for race game fans.

Not quite MK, but very enjoyable. Flying is tough.

This is basically a poor mans Mario Kart! Sonic Characters on stages of classic Sega games....

Since this was my first time using this game, I had to play several times to understand it.
