I bought this for my 10 year old son as he is a huge Sonic fan! The statue is pretty neat and it says "Sega" when you flip the on switch. The gold ring and retro sega cartridge were a huge hit, too. Same goes with the Sonic card. As for the game, my son absolutely loves it and it's a must have for any Sonic fans! :)

The statue that came in the Collectors Edition is just as great as the game itself. It was definitely worth it. Game is challenging but brings back everything there was to love about classic Sonic.

The box alone was worth the price. Beautiful design and brought me back to the days of Sega Genesis. Statue looks gorgeous.

Oh! My heartstrings! Never have I ever been soooo excited for a collectible game since...well since MK9 collectibles. I purchased the Sonic Mania collectible, and it is worth the price. The levels, the music, the game play: oh, again, my heartstrings! You buy this game, you will not regret it.

Plain and simple a must have for any sonic fan. It is a true return to classic form with the amazing classic music. As for the actual statue, i can say it has a permanent place on my mantle.

The game brings back all the fun of retro Sonic! Love the Sonic figure with the iconic audible Sega that was used back on the Sega commercials.

The statue is a lot bigger than I expected to be honest. The box was huge. It's a nice little statue if you love the Sonic franchise. As for the game, the game itself is fun, for the past decade Sonic games has been very inconsistent (but I really did like Sonic Generations though) but this game was great. It's a trip down memory lane playing in the side scolling way. With a few classic levels.

This set it great for fans of Sonic. The Genesis plays the Sega startup when you flip the on switch. Sonic's pose looked a bit awkward when I first saw it but I think that is just me. The game is a great classic Sonic game. If you enjoyed the Genesis games back in the day then this is a buy. This may be the best old school sonic game that exist.

Great game and a very cool statue of the classic Sonic

So this is the best of worlds when it comes to a fresh release of a classic gaming franchise. If you grew up with the Blue Blur, Sonic for the rest of you, like I did this game will take you back to those summers playing your Sega Genesis. Its everything great about the original series, but it looks great on your new HDTV.

If you are a fan of classic Sonic then look no further. This modern day re-visioning of Sonic is well worth the money. At the end of each level you are in for a surprise as well. I love all the extras that came with this edition for nostalgic reasons as I am sure others do too.

I grew up on Sega Genesis and Sonic. This brings me back to those days. The collector's edition has some cool stuff with it. It is purely for looks though. So unless you just want to impress your friends you can probably stick with the game only edition.

I have been a fan of Sonic since I was a kid. This takes the classic 2D platformer, revamps it into something even better, and thus, nostalgia is back at full throttle. I also got the collector's edition, so the included goodies is a nice touch.

If you love old school Sonic then this is the edition for you the. The Sonic stands on a full size replica of the Original launch Sega Genesis that does the old school Sega start up tone from Sonic when you turn it on its just great.

This is the Sonic game we have wanted since the genesis era. This is one of the best if not the best Sonic game to ever come out. If you like the older Sonic games do yourself a favor and pick this up!

Bought this for my daughter because she loves sonic. She caught on to it really quick and enjoys it. I was surprised how big the sonic statue was, the base is almost a full size genesis.

Nice figure. The included non working cartridge with the gold ring was a nice addition. Great game for Sonic fans. Highly recommend if you liked the older genesis sonic games

Great buy for any sonic fan! The game is awesome. The sonic statue with vintage swag console is great. My son loves it. Good gift for the young and young at heart!
