My family and I saw the movie at the theater and really liked it. We have watched it multiple times during our new normal and it has retained its charm. As a person who played the original Sega Genesis Sonic game, it was fun to see bits and pieces from the game worked into the movie. It’s a fun watch and we feel a great value.

Great movie love It and so did the rest of the family. Good quality blu-ray Don't let people exacte how great 4k is when u don't use the full screen id dont really look any good at all I will stick to bluray for the fact that until 4k is full 4k on all DVD or digital copies its not worth buying 4k dvds

Videogame movies have a long sordid history of not being particularly good. Sonic the Hedgehog manages to buck many of the problems though not all but still being an endearing movie with a fun plot and good use of Sonic. Jim Carrey is also a delight as Dr. Robotnik. Last movie I saw in theaters before the world shut down.

Long live physical media! By that I mean, buy discs NOW as they won't be around much longer. I'd be surprised if Best Buy still had discs on the shelves in three years. This movie is a great campy family film, and caused a resurgence in the games for a new generation. My kids play the originals on Nintendo switch!

Great video game movie! I watched this at the theatre, it was nice. I decided to buy my own copy to show it to the kids. They love the movie! My 4 year old now always has keeps a sonic cushioned toy close to her because she is a fan of sonic after watching the movie. She likes to run like sonic too!

I have to admit, I liked it more just because of Jim Carrey being the bad guy Mr. Robotnik. If you have ever played the game growing up. It is a must to have, this movie has enough Easter Eggs from the game to keep you guessing if you missed something. Most likely... Can't wait for part two.

Didn't think I'd like this movie all that much seeing as how video game movies tend to not be good. WELL that's no longer the case. I really enjoyed this movie. It was actually a pretty fun movie. Jim carrey was the jim carrey of old in this and I enjoyed every second he was on screen. Sonic was great too. Glad they changed his design cause I feel like if they kept it I would've been distracted by how awful he looked before. Definitely worth a watch.

This film completely exceeded my expectations, especially for a family movie. There are quite a few jokes put in for older audiences and they hit quite well. Really faithful to the legacy of the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise whilst being it's own seperate thing from the games and comics.

I bought this because it was cheap and because it had Jim Carry in it. It was actually good for being a family/kids movie. me and my girlfriend both laughed and enjoyed it. If you have a A8H/A8G/Q8FN/Q9R TV this film looks awesome. the color and depth this movie can bring is good.

I had written this movie off when I heard they had to go back and redesign Sonic after backlash from the first trailer. But, I started hearing good things about it after it was released, and gave it a try. The whole family enjoyed it, so I got the blu-ray/digital copy.

This was the last movie I saw in the theater, and at that time I liked it a lot. The main reason is that even when I'm not a Sonic fan, the story is fluid and fun. Jim Carrey performs as he used to do in his old movies (like ace Ventura). I highly recommend you this movie.

This might not be the best video game movie ever, but it's a solid entry. Not a fan of JC, but he does alright for Eggman/Robotnik. I would have actually liked to see him wear a fat suit to look the part. Anyway, it's good.

A lot better than I though this movie was going to be. A much truer comparison to the games, but with its own story. Jim Carrey knocks it out of the park as the villain. Fun for the whole family to enjoy.

I know everyone was worried this would turn out like the Mario Bros movie but it’s totally not. Aside from not being overweight, Jim Carrey plays an excellent Dr. Robotnik. The movie does start a little slow, but the rest of it makes up for that. Very good!

We love the movie , my 4 year old loves it. Just gives you a hard time when you try to download it digitally.. Trying to download it on my kids tablet so he has it when we’re on the road and stuff .. but nothing other than that the movie is awesome

Is it the best movie I've ever seen? No. Is it amazing because it's nostalgic, and done as well as this type of movie can be done? Yes. Highly recommend. It was done well and made me want to bust out my Sega system. <3 Sonic and Tails

My son saw this in the movies RIGHT before the pandemic hit. When it came out on video, since the rest of the family didn't get to see it and our son just loved it we bought it! Very cute, family friendly movie!

Glad they fixed Sonics appearance before release. Loved the movie even though I’m not the biggest sonic fan. Jim carey was perfect for the role too. Definitely one of the best video game adaptations out there.

Wasn’t sure I was going to like this movie as I was a kid of the late 80s and early 90s ans played sonic the hedgehog on sega for many years. But it actually ended up being a cute movie and it was a great price.

Awesome movie! Very entertaining and Lot's of Fun!!! Loved the "Ring" - lets get out of here card, very ingenious!!! Love Sonic! A must have for your movie collection. 100% reccomended!! Gladys
