I been a fan of the Sonic The Hedgehog games since the 90s, and this movie seems to have broken the video game movie curse, If you were a fan of the games whether its the 16 bit or 3D games, You will love this movie, It has plenty of Easter eggs from the game. The movie is a fun sci-fi action adventure for the whole family, and one that should be added to your collection.

What a fun movie for the entire family. We saw this in the movie theater and glad we did. The movie has awesome digital effects and really brings out the integrity of Sonic on the big screen. This lil guy is faster than a nascar and a joy to watch. Also excited to see Jim back on the big screen. He’s one of my favorite actors and holds it down as he does so eloquently. Great movie for everyone.

I was never a big Sonic fan, (I'm more of a Zelda type of person), but my son loves Sonic and this movie didn't disappoint him. This is the version with a metal box and comic book, which I would recommend for those whose are true Sonic fans. I can't say I have watched all the features, but this movie still holds up on repeated (and back to back) viewings. If you like Jim Carrey, he is fantastic in this movie.

I really loved Sonic the hedgehog video games, I was worried about when I heard that they were making a movie about it but when I saw it I was amazed how well they make this video game movie, and I really hope that they continue making alot more of the Sonic the hedgehog series.

We streamed this first because we didn’t know what to expect but we laughed and enjoyed it so much the kids kept asking to watch it again and again! So we didn’t hesitated when it was available at BB for purchase! Jim Carey and James Marsden were great and Sonic was believable and much cuter than the original attempt of its first trailer. Carey as Robotnik is classic!!! stay until the end Sonic fans!

My wife & I were ready to be disappointed after seeing the dull advertisements and hideous original design for Sonic. I don't know how they pulled it off, but I'm glad they did. Jim Carrey killed it as Dr. Robotnik. The rest of the cast did a great job in carrying the film across the finish line with many memorable sequences. The 4k transfer is solid and the Steelbook case is perfect.

This came with a lot of really nice stuff, and I’ll have to buy the other set, too. Great movie, fun Robotnik & Sonic steelbook, and I also REALLY liked the cool Comic Book that came with it. Neat! I would DEFINITELY recommend this collection to ANYONE who is even REMOTELY interested. :D

Great movie!!! It hit all the points for a nostalgia trip if you played that game as a kid minus a few things that i think will get filled in a sequel. and Jim Carrey's preformance are the Doctor Robotnic was great and reminded me of Jim Carrey of old. Overall good movie descent story for a first in it series (if more come). will definitely watch again

I love the Sonic hedgehog movie it does miss some of the parts of the movie matter of fact I would recommend it for kids and everyone that everyone that loves Sonic would get it some parts of it was missing and it's OK I don't know what the reason was but I still got it I still love it

My whole family loved this movie! We saw it while it was in theaters and couldn't wait to watch it again. If you're a fan of sonic! you'll also love it. There is a lot of funny scenes with a bit of adult humor mixed in as well. Sonic is also cool in this movie. I also learned a new word "Rock-Connaissance" from this really awesome movie. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

At first when this movie was announced, I wasn’t excited because of the previous video game movies. After the delay because of the backlash of Sonic design, I can say this is one of the best video game movie ever made. The crew did understand the character and show how passionate they are. To any Sonic fan, you should watch this movie and see Sonic being brought to life.

I love this movie more than I should. I grew up with Sonic and the Genesis and this movie does something to me that no movie has done before, give me a feeling of pure happiness where Im almost moved to tears. By no means is this movie perfect but for me Sonic was a big part of my childhood and this movie captures that inner child playing Genesis for the first time.

The quality of the product is top notch, 4k video transfer looks really good and the sound is Dolby Atmos standard. The film itself is pretty good, there are a lot of comparisons to Detective Pikachu and as someone who has seen both films, I think I'd give the edge to Pikachu but this is a good romp, it's a bit predictable but worth a re-watch, and it's nice to see Jim Carrey back in his element even if he wasn't my first pick for my "dream cast" of Sonic The Hedgehog. Final thought, great quality sound and image, nicely presented in 4K, the film is okay but can be fun to rewatch with kids.

The movie is a fantastic thrill ride for any longtime sonic fan or anyone that is new to the series. This edition comes with a steel case cover and also includes a Sonic comic which was fun. Overall I was pleased with this transaction because although it took a little longer to ship to my home (my fault i did not pre-order) BestBuy was kind enough to remove the shipping fee.

First of all, I’d give this movie a 7/10. It was much better than I was expecting, definitely worth a watch. It also makes me miss Jim Carrey and his weirdness. 5 stars for Best Buy though, quick delivery and I bought this during the Black Friday price. After watching this I would definitely pay to see a sequel.

Buying this movie in 4K was definitely a treat. I absolutely love this movie as a Sonic fan. Jim Carry killed the performance as Robotnik in such an unorthodox way that I didn’t even mind the new design. I definitely had fun with this one.

Good movie. Great SteelBook. I do wish Best Buy would ship single movies in a box, rather than a bubble envelope. Especially movies in collectible packaging. Definitely makes the expected delivery nerve racking, because you are anticipating damage - it’s always a surprise if there’s none.

Ok, at first I was not interested in seeing this movie, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and happy to say I own it. I don't want to give away anything but Jim Carey is just awesome in this film and even Sonic does not seem so foreign, which for a little blue hedgehog says a great deal. Great action, story and preview for the next film.

OMG Sonic is such is such a great movie, I saw it with a couple of really good friends of mine and we have loved sonic games. We were cautious of watching at first because of the first couple trailers showing an absolute reck of a design for the character but they fixed it and you don’t want to forget about Jim Carey’s amazing portrayal of Robotnik

What can I say, it's sonic the hedgehog. The movie was awesome! I'm not too happy with Jim Carey playing Dr. Robotnic. Could of been a much better performance or another actor. I just didn't feel like it was Dr. Robotnic from the Sega gaming days or the cartoon I grew up with many years ago. Still a great movie and definitely worth buying.
