I was honestly surprised that the movie was not terrible i watched it in theaters just cuz i wanted to see how bad it was but it surprised me by being a good kids movie and actually watchable as a movie Sonic is adorable And Its been so long since ive seen Jim carrey have fun in a role like this worth a watch Its a great buy if your a sonic fan

Not a whole lot of expectations for this due to the scary initial character designs but after all the effort to correct it gave it a shot. Definitely on the best video game movies and overall funny, action filled movie with a character who actually develops thru the movie. Even Jim Carrey is classic and has a good performance. Something the family can enjoy.

This movie was better than it had any right to be. This was a fun joyride with Jim Carrey not quite reaching his golden standard of 90's films, but being significantly closer than recent years. This movie is still a kid's film, so parents and adults go in knowing that some things will land more with you and others will land more with children.

It’s much better than I thought been a fan of sonic since the first and second game came out when I was kid. I love this film and glad to see Jim Carey back on the tv screen even as a villain. Looking forward to the sequel.

Wonderful movie, saw it in theaters and wanted to buy it. My only problem is that best buy cancelled my preorder like the day before it came out and I was confused as to why my movie didn't show up, but thankfully I was able to just order another one and that one was perfect. Great steelbook comes with a little comic along side a great movie.

I went into this movie thinking it was going to be pretty mediocre. Most video game movies are. I was mistaken. I thought it was clever, funny and full of heart. The voice actors are great but Jim Carrey was amazing. My kids weren't Sonic fans before but they are now. We got this on sale during Black Friday and it was a killer deal.

This was the last movie we saw before Covid hit, So it holds a special place in our hearts and memories. I really like this movie and didn’t think it was going to be this good and I cannot wait for the sequel to come out. But the truth is I’ve always preferred Nintendo over Sega! LOL

This is now an amazing part of my Sonic collection. The case is hard, the comic is well... a nice add on even though I wish they would have actually hired an artist to do so. Deleted scenes reel me back to when I was in art school! Awesome, Outstanding, Amazing! I'm so glad this movie turned out to be more good than bad, and I will always love sonic<3

This movie surprised me. I've never been the biggest sonic fan and the initial trailer was terrible. But once the team went and redesigned sonic to look less horrifying, the movie looked promising. It delivered on being a funny movie with some in jokes and the casting of Jim Carrey as eggman/robotnik was perfect.

Sonic is one of those movies that both parents and kids will love. Parents will enjoy it for the memories it will envoke of playing the game in our youth, and kids will love it for the fun adventure it offers. Also, parents will appreciate Jim Carey as Robotnik (he slays in the role!). Really a good family film that everyone will enjoy!

This is a really good movie. The movie makers did a great job on converting the Sonic story into a movie. I'm not a big Jim Carrey fan but he did a decent job.I'm glad they went back and redesigned the Sonic character to be more true to the video game. If you enjoyed Sonic as a kid are your kids enjoy Sonic. This movie is definitely worth a watch

The Christmas gift that they would definitely love. We watched it in the movies and ofcourse from the way it ended we know to expect a part two. They enjoyed it so much! I just knew that this would definitely be great for their movie collection, dvd , Blu-ray and digital copy. Three great options for the home and on the go.

I love this movie, I'm glad I bought this Steelcase edition with the Sonic comic book. It is certainly my favorite movie of 2020 and it regenerated my interest in Sonic The Hedgehog all over again. I've been a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since 1991 when I owned my Sega Genesis with the Sonic game included. I never stopped being a Sonic fan.

After much criticism over the initial design of Sonic back in March 2019, first time feature director Jeff Fowler took the feedback to heart and revised not only the design of Sonic, but the rest of the videogame characters as well. Though not a masterpiece of a movie, Sonic delivers on bringing this iconic character faithfully to a live action film and the performance from Jim Carey in playing Dr Robotnik is worth the price of admission. Buy with confidence if you are a Sonic the Hedgehog fan

Excellent movie for the kids. Also excellent movie for my Panasonic 4K player connect it to my LG 5.1.3 Sound Bar basically if you have quality high end entertainment systems this is a great movie for you

This movie had no right to be as good as it was. Lots of nods and references throughout the movie to various Sonic games and cartoons in the past, story was fun and light-hearted, and Jim Carrey STEALS THE SHOW as Dr. Robotnik. I highly recommend it not just to Sonic fans, but to anyone just looking for something fun to watch. :)

Fun short romp, but I'd really only recommend it for pre-existing Sonic fans.

Most people my age (36) remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog. I remember playing it on all sega video game systems..The movie was surprisingly good..it stuck to the fundamentals of the game..i give teo thumbs up to Jim Carrie performance as dr Robotnix I got the steelbox 4k verison..it is sweet with the HDR..Sonic is really blue

My family and I saw the movie at the theater and really liked it. We have watched it multiple times during our new normal and it has retained its charm. As a person who played the original Sega Genesis Sonic game, it was fun to see bits and pieces from the game worked into the movie. It’s a fun watch and we feel a great value.

One of my sons favorite movies. And it exceeded my expectations as well. The only thing is you better like Jim Carrey since he is the main bad guy so if you are not a fan of his then this may not be for you. However if he doesn't bother you with his over the top antics, this was a great dive into the world of Sega.
