I purchased the Sonos sound bar Ultra for my girlfriend’s Valentine gift. The sound is fantastic! I was especially surprised at the amount of quality bass. We were having trouble with the tv dialog, but now can hear every word. I highly recommend the Sonos sound bar Ultra.

bought this to replace a Roku soundbar which was great. However, it was an older streaming version that is no longer sold and was having issues. This soundbar is amazing! I coupled it with the mini sub and two wireless speakers for surround. I already have a Sonance by Sonos outdoor speaker system so they work seamlessly together. I can no play music in the house and backyard simultaneously or different on each. Sound quality is great as is the versatility.

I haven had a new soundbar in 10 years. The difference in sound is amazing and the amount of bass this bar puts out is crazy. I can't wait until the sub gets here. I only have a 10 year old "inexpensive" Sony system to compair this to but, holy moly! Well worth the chunk you have to give up for it.

Sound quality, tone separation and clarity is amazing! Voice clarity is awesome, even when the movie sound mixing is subpar. Great at separating voices from background music. Sounds like a home theater. Listening to music stations sounds like being at a concert. Looks like it was made for our 55”LG OLED UHD TV. Exact same size. So pleased!

I replaced my original Sonos PLAYBAR with the Sonos Arc Ultra, and the upgrade is worth it. Dialogue clarity is excellent, with improved speech enhancement options that make voices easier to understand Bass performance is noticeably stronger than the PLAYBAR on its own Room tuning and overall balance are also better, especially in a modern TV setup. HDMI eARC, support for newer audio formats, Bluetooth, and updated connectivity make the Arc Ultra feel future-proof. Bottom line: If you want immersive sound and modern standards, the Arc Ultra is a worthy successor. If you’re happy with basic TV audio and don’t need Atmos, the PLAYBAR still holds up surprisingly well. I appreciate having the ability to turn on night mode and voice enhancement using voice commands and the SONOS app. Nice feature when you live in an apartment

This soundbar blew my mind after I got it set up with the Sonos app! It has a generous amount of front, side, and height firing speakers that make a clear and dynamic difference. It also has 4 small subs for bass if you do not want to get the Sub 4. These do a solid job and offer a decent amount of bass. But when you pair this soundbar with any of their subwoofers it has a completely realize depth that is worth the buy. Go check out the demo at your local store!

Before i purchased the Ultra, i had bought the new nakamichi shockwafe wireless 11.2.6. I had lots of trouble getting the sound to my liking with the nakamichi. I attribute some of that to the fact that it was just too much system for the space i was using it in. I sent it back and purchased the Ultra with 2 era300s. Wow! What a difference out of the box. The sound is much more natural and clear. The base is also fantastic without the subs and i dont see myself needing any subs for the near future. The nakamichi had great surrounds but the 300s with the ultra are a way better option for me. Immersive, powerful and clean looking. I love my sonos set up!!!!!!

This is my first Sonos Soundbar (I've had other brands--which were good, but took a lot more effort to get working with the tv). I'm so thrilled with Sonos!! The sound is rich and full. It was incredibly easy to install and worked without any fuss when I plugged it into my Samsung TV. The look/shape of the bar was what ultimately made me pick this brand, and I'm so glad I did. It looks great!

Excellent sounding speaker in setup with era 300s and sub gen4. I bought stands for the era 300s from Amazon that keep them at the perfect height. Run software that sets the sound levels for all the speakers and you will not be disappointed.

I upgraded my WiFi network to WiFi 7 and for some strange reason, my original Sonos Arc would no longer connect. So, I picked up the Sonos Arc Ultra to see if it would work and am I ever glad I did. Not only does it work with my new network, but the sound is vastly improved over the original Arc, which is no slouch itself. I was amazed by the sound stage and ambience produced by the Arc Ultra and the new details that I could hear in various soundtracks. The bass response of the Arc Ultra has also been improved dramatically and in a smaller room it would be more than adequate on its own. For the real deal and full earthshaking sound, I would still recommend adding the Sonos subwoofer. This combination is hard to beat. So, if you’re in the market for a new or upgraded high-end excellent soundbar, I’d highly recommend the Arc Ultra. It was chosen as the best soundbar of the year (2024) by one of the online tech magazines and, in my opinion, has certainly earned that spot. NOTE: Sonos released an update to the Arc that fixed the network connection issue for me, so I moved the original arc into another room where I was using a Playbar and retired the Playbar.

I’m really impressed with this speaker. The sound quality is clear with strong bass and crisp highs, even at higher volumes. It connects easily via Bluetooth and stays connected without cutting out. The battery life is excellent and lasts me all day without needing to recharge. The design is sleek and feels durable, making it easy to take anywhere. Whether I’m using it for music, movies, or small gatherings, it performs great every time. For the price, this speaker definitely exceeds expectations. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable speaker with great sound quality!

I was skeptical that the Arc Ultra would would live up to the hype, but have been presently surprised. I have a small theater room (11x14) and was previously using a modest Sony soundbar (5.1) with wireless subwoofer. Having convinced myself that this was fine for such a small room, I was content. Then I heard the Arc in my daughter's house (in a very large room) and decided to take a look. I thought I went totally overboard with the Arc Ultra, but am more than satisfied with this device. Once I added the Sub Mini, the sound filled out nicely and provides a lush and enveloping experience. Also, the dialog enhancement is the best I have ever heard.

Lots of sonos in my home. So i was pretty hyped up for this new ultra. Sounds great with dolby atmos. I have 2 full setups and more. One with original arc. One with arc ultra. Both setups have era 300s and one gen 3 sub. I personally very little change. Yes voices are a little clearer compared to original arc. But not enough to really notice going back and forth between the two setups. Either speaker great when setup with subs and rears. But no need for selling and upgrading.

I don’t get it. With all the complicated set up and optimization routines combined with the marketing hype I should be happy as a pig in dirt. I combined this with their remote sub. Only the best for me and mine so go big or go home. I shoulda went home. Worst thing: The audio level imbalance for most any TV show or movie is horrible. If you set the volume to hear the voices when an action scene hits it will hit so loud it knocks us out of our seats scrambling to turn down the volume. After that we can no longer hear the dialogue. This is for all streaming services and DVDs (what’s that?). As an engineer I went through all the settings and used the automatic sound set up routine built into the system. This sound bar might be great for a frat house movie night, but not for your average quiet home den. Next Worst Thing: Volume is digital notching. The system is all digital, including the volume control. So instead of a nice linear volume level you get digital notched volume. So the lowest setting is zero volume but one click up is too loud for late-nite viewing while someone is sleeping. There is no control over this. It’s a very synthetic experience and rude. Next: The system cannot be used or set up without using a flaky app. No plugging this thing in and go. It needs to talk to your phone and more importantly to it’s mothership somewhere. If you have a cabin in the woods don’t expect for this $$$$ to do anything. Lastly: Don’t buy into the hype that this is the best I just set up another TV with another brand sound bar which was less than half the price and it works so good I am ready to dump my Arc Ultra and go foe something like that.

I think this is great going from the traditional set up for television audio sound. Without the rear speakers this thing is incredible while watching our movies. yes, I know there is cheaper out there, but I’m OK with the price on this one.

Awesome sound. I ran seven speakers in my theater room to get good sound. When I purchased the Arc Ultra, I was able to remove the seven speakers and have a better room filling sound with the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4 Subwoofer. And the use of the app make tweaking the sound very easy.
