I am a Best Buy fan but was honestly disappointed in my whole buying experience and the Sonos System. I went into the store after some research and asked the Tech Guys to help me decide the Sonos Arc Ultra + ERA 100 + Sub 4 system vs the comparable new Bose system. They dismissed Bose and other systems entirely and led me to the Sonos system. After asking about the other systems they again brushed me off again and extolled the Sonos ease of use and customer support. I bought it and after 3 days and over 10 hours of attempts and multiple calls to Spectrum and Sonos customer support I only then got it to work...kind of. I found out that Sonos has massive integration issues with Android users which I have and the Best Buy guys only brushed over...this is something Sonos has known since the roll out of the new app back in May and have been utterly incapable of fixing since. It also has massive issues with managed WiFi apartments which was the cause of my problems. The only reason I finally got it to work was using my friend's Apple phone, and got Spectrum to activate an ethernet port and separate connection to use my old router and set up a whole different WiFi network than the one I'm supposed to use. Spectrum customer support was extremely knowledgeable about the Sonos problems and even though they owned Sonos themselves commented on it being by far the worst integration of all products they deal with getting on to managed WiFi...they are internet tech support guys and even they had problems setting up their own systems. Whatever quality difference there may or may not be in Bose vs Sonos it wasn't worth massive headache I went through.
