    Great device that serves its purpose - creating a dedicated place on your wireless network for Sonos devices. In the days where a bridge might have been needed (still needed for S1 only set ups) the Boost also fills that role quite well.

    I purchased the Sonos Boost to make use of Sonosnet to isolate my Sonos traffic from my home network. What a mistake. I don’t recommend Sonosnet (Sonos’ propietary mesh network), and I don’t recommend the Boost. It caused audio drop outs to be more frequent, no matter what I did to optimize my setup. My recommendation is to invest your money in better WiFi gear and to set up Sonos in the standard WiFi setup.
