Like anything with sonos you just plug it in and works with the other sonos speakers. So easy to set up.

I bought the Sonos Connect to use with an amplifier and outdoor speakers and was so impressed that I ended up purchasing two Sonos Connect's and will likely buy a third shortly. I really like the quality of audio from a particular premium brand of speakers although the simplicity of using the Sonos app brings the best of both worlds. Setting up the Sonos Connect was quite easy although with the Mesh Wi-Fi system that I have, I had to setup each Sonos Connect using an Ethernet cable connected to the primary router within the mesh. Attempting to setup the Connect from another router within the mesh system failed to work. After setting up the Sonos Connect on the primary mesh router, I was able to move the Sonos Connect to another location in the house. The iOS app made setup easy and is also a great way of managing the various sources of music that we like to play though out the house. I particularly like the ability to pair two or more Sonos Connect units to play the same music, podcast etc. within more than one room.

The SONOS Connect works perfectly to tie the SONOS to an existing receiver. Used the CD input and had no problems. I also appreciate having the line input, and was able to easily tie on-air FM radio or turntable, etc. into the SONOS. This was my complaint with SONOS on line music: I wanted to tie local broadcasts into SONOS and this did the trick. Now I can play a radio station in the house and have SONOS also play those stations in sync with these other radios.

I love the Sonos products and the idea of wireless speakers. The problem I had was that I already had an existing receiver and home theater setup serving speakers for 3 rooms (home theater room and a second zone for the patio and bedroom). This product allows me to utilize the existing receiver and speakers along with the Sonos app to stream music to these rooms. Simple setup and was up and running in 10 minutes. Very happy.

Updated an old system that had installed speakers throughout my house and clumsy key panels on the walls. It had become cumbersome to use with streaming music services and digital media. I used Sonos to keep all the old functionality AND make the system usable without the key panels and to give me access to all kinds of digital media through Sonos. I loved how easy it set up and integrated, and fixed EVERYTHING.

Can hook up any old RCA plug system to this box & your now in the wireless age!!! I eleminated my old Kenwood receiver & plugged my 400 CD player to this unit & now everything is wireless with the best sounds you can get!!! Am extremely happy with this Sonos System.

This is my fourth connect for my four zones run by a whole house automatic amp. I love SONOS the simplicity of set up and the always available app with an extremely user friendly interface. Their products give you a high end experience at the fraction of the cost for a custom system. I have yet had to reset any of the connects I own, the reliability is unsurpassed. I have installed this system in 3 other of my friends houses after they have seen my set up and they are all as happy as myself. I highly, highly recommend SONOS to everyone. Just for beginners the connect has no amplifier and hooks up to an external amp or sound system. I use Dayton audio's multi zone amp that has 12 channels that has an auto on/off sensor. These two together make the magic happen. We use the system probably 5 plus hours a day. We couldn't be happier with the SONOS experience

Its the best way to stream all your music and others on your home. This will work with your amp and speakers. There are others that are stand alone, and will let you have music in any room without wires. Sonos is pricey, but they have AMERICAN support and its first class. I believe you get what you pay for. And Sonos gives your your money worth. They also have the a great surround system.

Definitely an upgrade from our previous speakers. Amazing sound and easy installation.

Bought the Sonos connect in order to control my old theater system to the outside for entertainment. I recently purchased the playbar to replace the old theater system I had and moved it to the outside for outdoor music. The Sonos connect gives the ability to keep your old devices and control them wireless. Sure it does not give the Sonos sound and bass but it's a theater system that still gives a good sound. Besides why should I have such a loud system outside, I don't want to bother my neighbors with loud music. All I wanted was for me to control the music from the palm of my hand and Sonos gives me the ability to do so. If you are looking for it to come down in price, well I have waiting close to a year and never seen it go down. It's a good investment and recommend it if you want to control all the speakers in your home.

I have an old but very good quality Yamaha Audio/Video Receiver and some built in wired speakers throughout my house. I now control this Receiver and these wired speakers with the new Sonos Connect along a new Play 1 wireless speaker. Everything sounds great and was easy to set up. My iPhone or my wife's iPhone can now play a wide variety of music in different rooms. Very satisfied.

Bought this for my wife to play all her digital music on our existing stereo equipment and she swears it's the best thing i've ever bought for her. Great sound and super easy to install. Sonos is the best!!

Nothing I've heard or heard about can deliver as much great music in high fidelity as accurately and flexibly as Sonos. Others are starting to provide almost equal sound quality but Sonos flexibility in music sourcing and delivery through its own combined amplifiers/speakers, through in the wall speakers alone and through home theater/sound set ups more than trumps the others.

Bought this at the recommendation of the Magnolia rep. We were looking for something to help us play music over speakers wired in our house. Sonos is great! We can play music from our IPhone bought from ITunes or music from any app on our phone including Pandora. It’s so easy to download the Sonos App and it’s very user friendly.

My experience with Sonos speakers has been positive. I had been looking for a wireless method to have my music and music services such as iTunes, Pandora, Amazon music, and a few others to play in every room for a number of years. The Sonos ecosystem has this far worked perfectly for me. I already had a Play 1 and a Play 3 in other rooms. I was looking at the Playbar for my living room, but it seemed a bit pricey considering that I already have a functioning surround sound system. So, adding the Connect seemed like a no-brainer. The set-up was easy due to already having an existing Sonos network. The sound quality has been excellent too. Don't hesitate on this one if you're looking for a wireless method of connecting audio to every room in your house. You won't regret it!

I have been wanting to get this for several years but think the price was rather high. After frustrating issues with AirPlay on my receiver I decided to take the plunge. The system is great like any Sonos. Only reason I did not give five is you are better off getting the play 1 for less money, but if you have an existing stereo system and want to use those speakers this is a good addition if you want everything linked to Sonos.
