Sonos Amp is a great addition to the line they offer. I have a play:3 for back patio, play:5 for the living room, playbar for the media room, and now installed the Amp for my wired ceiling speakers. Easy to use for wife and all kids.

I am running a pair of yamaha indoor outdoor speakers around my pool area. The sonos amp powers them and gives the simplicity of controlling with the sonos app and pairing with other sonos speakers throughout the house.

AMP allowed me to connect my Sonos system to a excellent sub woofer I already own along with some surround sound speakers. Listening to music at home is a whole new experience and iy brings a new dimension to watching movies at home.

This was easy to add to the Sonos system already in place. I was a little concerned about the power, but when it was connected it to the rock speakers around the pool, I was pleasantly surprised.

Easy to use, great sound. Great product for the money spent.

I added this to my current system of 3- 1s, 2- 5s, a sub, and now, the Amp. While it took 3 attempts to set it up, it has worked flawless. Sounds great driving 2 ceiling mount speakers.

The sonos receiver is very easy to use with the smartphone. I can turn music on and off with the tap of the screen. I would highly recommend this feature for anyone with built in speakers in their home.

So happy with our SONOS amp. This is the third one we have bought through Best Buy. We can expand our system at any time by adding another amp, which gives us multiple rooms to enjoy our SONOS products and music.

We are techno dummies and were able to set up our Sonos Connect Amps in no time and with no problems. Plus it has been crazy easy to use it. Thank you, Sonos, for creating such a great machine.

Was looking to replace using second zone on my recover which always had issues when connecting outdoor speakers. This baby made it so easy to listen throughout outside speakers as well as SONOS inside the house.

The Sonos Amp has been an excellent solution to power my outdoor wired Niles rock speakers. I had been using an old 18 year old Onkyo receiver to power the speakers but it finally gave out. The audio source was my TV output utilizing Dishnet for Sirius and Apple TV for iTunes. I looked at replacing the receiver, but to get decent power for two pairs of speakers I would have to go with a surround sound model which I did not need. The other issue was that whenever we had guests (kids) who wanted to watch TV while others were out by the pool we had to turn the music off. Sonos provided the solution. I can now listen to a much greater variety of music from different sources (Sirius play lists per channel are not as long as you would think) without using the TV as an audio source, stream the music on a separate wifi signal in the house using the Sonos Bridge, control the volume (although I had already installed an outside volume control), and select different music from a variety of sources and devices. The sound quality is very good; better than my 18 year old Onkyo! The main drawback is price. I would love to add more components (play bar for the TV with the subwoofer and a Connect to hook up to my home theater in the basement) but I would have to spend an additional $1,750.00 and that doesn't even include the play bar mount for the wall which costs another $40.00!! That's on top of the $550.00 I already spent! The grand total would be $2,340.00 and I would be getting music in the family room, basement, and outside. For the family room to be able to do true surround sound for home theater, I would still have to spend more for rear speakers... Anyways, great system which I highly recommend...but be prepared to spend some $$$.

I use this for my pool speakers. It's awesome that I can control it from my iPhone with app. Within the Sonos app you can use Pandora and other music apps if you subscribe to them. It's easy to setup too!

Easy to hook up and get started. Wonderful to be able to stream music through my existing outdoor speakers with an easy to use app. Multiple music streaming apps work easily through the Sonos is app.

Given the need for more than one, i would consider these only as a long term investment. That said, the seamless integration for in ceiling speakers around the house cannot be beat.

This was my second purchase of the Connect:Amp for music in my office. Very easy to setup and the Sonos App is terrific. Free music, or connect to you pay service or you personal library of tunes.

Downloaded the app and followed the instructions and set up was super easy. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Bonus was the fact that you can set an alarm to wake you up in the morning with music

an option good for connecting a music system at home

Have been happy with the SONOS that I bought. Placed it in my kitchen cupboard and hooked to speakers in the ceiling. I was able to hook it up by myself. Which in itself is amazing.
