The Conect: AMP is a great product in the SONOS lineup. You get 110 watts from this little box and when you pair this with a set of quality bookshelf speakers you will not be disappointed. The SONOS app for your smartphone or tablet allows for simple and quick access to your music library and unlimited streaming sources available online. As you build your SONOS system it is so easy to add additional devices and group them together for whole-house music.

We use this in the backyard by the pool It is great ! We hooked up our Rock Speakers to it and everyone can play their favorite music when they visit !

easy to connect ,does the work , nice sound but too expensive

Very simple to use and set up. works great and I have now purchased an additional two units for and TV sound bar. (just wish the cost were more reasonable)

An expensive option to add free standing speakers to my Sonos system. However as with all Sonos products the ease of set up and performance equates to the price.

I recently built a new home and had it prewired for multiple in ceiling speakers. I did not know how I was going to power all of them but decided on SONOS and am glad I did. I have a mixture of the Connect and Connect Amp as well as the Play Speakers. It seemed pricey at first but when I walk from room to room through my house with nonstop music it is all worth it. I even added the Play speakers to rooms that I did not plan on having music in.

I've owned many stereo systems in my live and the SONOS is the best ! Highest quality sound and the simplest control system of anything on the planet.

I absolutely love my Sonos! I'm doing a kitchen remodel and decided ceiling speakers and music would be amazing. It is amazing and the sound is great. I love that there are so many sources of music! I did some research online and went to Best Buy. The first guy that helped me told me that I needed one of these Sonos boxes for every two speakers. He also said I would need to spend $500 on having it programmed. Actually, if your speakers have the correct number olms (sp?) then the Sonos box can handle 4 speakers. I bought 4 speakers, one box and it's incredible. Also, you do not need to pay Best Buy for programming. It's an app on the phone- simple to set up. So I've just saved you $1,000 and me too! So glad I bought it! I listen to my phone, Pandora, radio stations and more! Amazing!

it took me a long time to make the investment into Sonos. Frankly it is so much more expensive than other tools. Well, it is definitely worth it. First, through Best Buy open box program, I got it for 20% cheaper approx. Second, it takes 10 - 15 minutes to install - thats the max. You dont need anyone to help. Third, you can hook up more than 2 speakers to one amp. You really want to decide which ones you want to group together in terms of music. I was able to cut down my costs a lot by doing it myself and the multiple speakers hook up.

I love this device! Works as advertised and was so easy to install and get up and running. I use it to play vinyl using my Sonos system and it sounds great. You MUST use a pre-amp with it if you want to have decent volume levels. Very easy to install and connect to an existing Sono system. Recommended.

Have a few of them for different zones. Love it, just as simple as that. Works flawlessly and sounds are wonderful (with the correct speakers, had some cheapo once connected and it was terrible, so if you have issues with sound quality it's most likely not the Sonos, it's your speakers. My only wish would be if they made them more powerful to connect more than 2 speakers per unit. (they said maybe 4 speakers are okay, but it's more a trial and error and not well explained what happens if you go over the rated Ohms etc).

Got a new entertainment console to put below a new 55" wall mounted TV. Realized the old receiver/amplifier wouldn't fit. After some research, realized that the Connect AMP was a perfect solution and took up much less space than the old receiver. Took about 5-10 mins to set up and with a speaker selector that I already had, I am now able to stream music to the 4 pairs of speakers that were already pre-wired in my home. The ability to control via my Ipad is awesome!!!! Highly recommend this product!

I have had my Sonos system for a few years now. My friends and family always love my set up. I would recommend to anybody interested in good quality audio and convenience. I have a Connect Amp in my Master Bedroom. A Connect hooked up to my living room HiFi system. A Play5 in the kitchen and a Play3 in the master bath. I can fill the house with sound at my command. I also have 2 of their discontinued controllers which I wish they still offered. I prefer those over using phone or iPod.

I was very anxious on buying this system. Instructions in the box were not much help either. But, as normal...internet to the rescue. Lots of instructions online and the Sonos tech group was helpful too. I really enjoy playing internet music over the system. I was also able to hook my CD player to the Sonos. If you have multiple speakers, you do not have to buy another Sonos, just get a multi-speaker splitter. I can run 4 sets of speakers.

I purchased a new receiver and speakers that has dual zones for my house last year. I wanted to use the second zone in my backyard but after a year of trying to figure out how to make it work, I gave up. I considered buying new speakers for my backyard, but my AV guy recommended this Sonos receiver to use with the speakers I have and it works great! It was tricky setting it up—he could not figure out how to get it to play the Playlists from my iPhone and we spent over an hour on the phone with Sonos before we figured out we just needed to select Allow iTunes Music On This Device in the Sonos app (tip if anyone else has this problem!). I have it inside a media cabinet and don’t have any issues with heat (another question I had). Now I can have music in my backyard immediately without going through all the steps I had to do with my dual zone receiver. I am very happy with this purchase!

My second Sonos product. Always extremely easy to setup and operate. Great quality and worth the cost.

Easy set up, plug and play. A bit weak at 55 watts/channel, but clean and reasonable volume.
