The Sonos Era 300 delivers an immersive sound experience with six strategically positioned drivers that create a 360-degree audio effect. It supports Dolby Atmos and offers versatile connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB-C input for additional sources. Built-in Amazon Alexa allows easy voice control. Its modern, sleek design makes it both functional and stylish. While the overall sound quality is excellent, some users mention that vocal clarity could be improved. Still, the Era 300 is a solid choice for those seeking high-quality, immersive sound.

I made a small error in judgement with this speaker in my setup, so I hope this helps anyone who is looking at this speaker for their home setup.
Purchased the Sonos Era 300 as a standalone speaker with the idea of connecting it to my TV for a better home theater solution. While this can work if you choose to do so, I chose a different path after some tweaking with the other Sonos products. Sonos products are expensive and can't be labeled as a value but don't get me wrong they are a great product.
Some pros for this Sonos 300 Speaker:
Immersive and spacious soundstage.
Deep, Impactful bass performance.
Supports Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio experiences.
Versatile connectivity options including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
One of the advantages of this speaker is its Bluetooth capability as it can be connected to any device that supports it. Ultimately, I decided to use this speaker as a standalone for streaming music in our home.
To unleash the pure power of the Sonos 300 for streaming, Apple Music and Amazon support Dolby Atmos and its a game changer. Even if you use Spotify or others, the sound is amazing, but playing an Atmos track on this device is another experience.
Fair Warning - if you wish to purchase this speaker and connect it to a Sonos soundbar, you will need (2) of them to pair it. When I tried to pair this (1) speaker with the soundbar I was unable to. I ended up pairing the the Sonos Beam Soundbar with the Sonos Sub Mini, which was the perfect compliment for my room. These speakers are powerful and can be paired as mentioned with any Sonos soundbar, and would be more beneficial in a larger room.
In review, the Sonos Era 300 stands out as a high-quality smart speaker, offering a rich and immersive audio experience however you decide to use it.

Having the Era 300s in my living room feels like a live concert. The setup was very simple, and all its features work flawlessly. The bold design stands out. For rich, multidirectional audio, it’s a top-tier choice! I only wish the power cable was longer for my room setup or maybe it’ll be wireless in the future. You never know!

Thanks to the multi-driver layout (side, up, forward), the Era 300 does a really good job of creating a spatial audio feel. Even with regular stereo tracks, many reviewers note that there’s better separation, “width,” and an engaging sense of space. Spatial Audio / Atmos Performance (when it works)
Where you do have Atmos / spatial tracks (from services like Apple Music or Amazon Music Unlimited), the effect can be quite powerful: sounds appear to come from above, from sides, center, and the listening experience is more enveloping. Sound Detail & Dynamics
Across reviews, people praise how much detail is preserved, how well vocals, reverb, ambient cues, and background details are handled. Pretty clean, crisp in the mids and highs. Bass & Power
For its size, it delivers punchy, physical bass, especially when cranked up. It can fill a room.

The Sonos 500 has amazing base. I was concerned that most of the speakers i was gonna buy had high Treble, but this one has such a rounded sound and strong Bass, that it made everything sound beautiful highly recommend cannot wait to buy another one. Super easy to set up definitely the way to go to surround sound in the house or apartment.

Been blown away by this speaker so far! It’s what I use to listen to vinyl and for its size, its sound really fills out the room!!
As a budding audiophile who can’t yet afford an entire audiophile’s setup, this has been a great option for me.

super deep bass, crazy 3D sound, really awesome for video game Spatial Audio. I paired these with the Sonos Ultra sound bar and i don’t think I’ll even need a sub.

Used two and paired for stereo. Sound great. Easy to set up and tune to the room. Looking forward to buying another two for the same set up in the Den with the Arc and Sub to replace the Ones that I use as surround.

Have a pair of these in dolby atmos configuration with arc, subs wall mount. They give so much sound stage its unbelievable. I used to own the 100s and these are a massive upgrade. I was alitte worried with the new sonos app and reports of issues but havent had any problems. I will say im just waiting for the inverted software trueplay release but thats on the software side of things and supposed to be released soon.

Sonos is the perfect addition to any home from a single bedroom apartment to a 3 story town house. The seamless sound integration and auto tuning makes it effortless to have an immersive yet not overwhelming high fidelity sound system that is wireless, easily moved and offers audiophiles a way to get the best quality sound with a system you can continue to build upon as your needs or desires change.

I replaced a pair of play 3's serving as rear surrounds for my home theater setup. The 300's are terrific sounding & sexy looking speakers that provide layers of sounds and depth for your spatial audio music and movies that surround you. I have the Arc, a 2nd gen sub and 2 Era 300's in my surround set up. The 300's have 2 woofers, 4 tweeters and 6 amps and send sounds in every direction. I can't speak to the blue tooth or line out capabilities for my setup but they are nice features that could be useful for different setups.

I came off a set of 4 older Play3 speakers, using them outside with a sonos sub (yes, you can 100% enjoy the bass outside). These are more airy and directionless, filling the backyard and pool area with sound. They are not as loud per se as the Play 3. In fairness, I am using 3 of these - 2 in stereo and one in the middle in full mode, still with the Sonos Sub, which is in a corner to amplify its effect. Without the sub. these have very little bass and bottom end. The Play 3s had more low end. However, these work, and Sonos made it VERY hard to still run the 3s flawlessly. All of that said, these still glitch occasionally, as I am forced to run them as 2 zones - 1 set max per zone is a software limitation. I *like* Sonos, I am not a fanboy.

Great sounding and good looking speaker. It’s by far the hottest speaker out. It’s very easy to set up and it makes you want to listen to it every day! Weather it’s TV or music, the sound of this speaker is phenomenal!!

I upgraded from the ones to these and they do add a demension to the sound that wasn't there before. I dont have them in ideal positions, but they still sound awesome. I dislike the eye sore that is the footprint of the design, but I love the Sonos sound and don't regret my purchase. I rewarched Dune and Top Gun (the latest one) as soon as I added it to my Arc and Sub, and I have enjoyed my movies a little more ever since.

Love these speakers, they were the ones I needed to complete my surround system. Excellent sound and easy setup. Was able to place them on corner of headboard.
