The problem is they stop supporting their products (i.e. no software/firmware updates) making them incompatible with newer Sonos and Apple products (Yes, poor iPhone compatibility). I have several thousand dollars invested in Gen 1 Sonos throughout my house that is no longer supported. Sonos business model is to charge premium price for a great product, knowing that they have programmed obsolescence in the software to e eventually make you upgrade. Don’t buy Sonos!! There are better wireless options.

Posted .Hi, and thank you very much for taking the time to review our products. We appreciate your feedback. We do our best to push boundaries and innovate. One way we do this is by basically making our products computers, and just like any computer... hardware gets obsolete over time. Kind of like a cell phone! We wouldn't expect our cell phone from 2005 to run the same software that allows us to do what we do today on our new phones. It's the same with any technology that uses computers including wireless speakers. However, we are considered above industry average when handling this. For starters, we are still launching bug fixes and security patches on our S1 (old platform) where most companies stop support altogether. Secondly, we offer 30% off coupons for qualified S1 products! That means you could have bought our first products that launched in 2005, and get 30% off of anything that you would like form our lineup today!!! We hope this makes sense and that it changes your perception of us being a mean company that has bad intentions in the decisions and products we make. :)
Bought to mount under LG TV Had to return

It just does not hook into the TV. FLund a mount that worked on Amazon

Posted .Thanks for the feedback! The Sonos first party mount is designed to be mounted directly to the wall. Fortunately, there are several other soundbar mounting options that work for Playbar and we are glad that you found one that works!

Perfect fit. The SONOS powercord and optical cable ran up to the tv and outlet hidden behind the tv. No need to put a hole in the wall to run cables up the wall. You see no wires.

I would recommend buying the bar and the wall mount at the same time. It saves you the time and effort of waiting to see if you need it.... You do.... The bar was meant to be on the wall to fill the entire room with sound

Might be able to accomplish same thing with two screws, though, because Sonos has holes in the back that are used to mount onto the bracket.

In this box I found: Sonos mount, no hardware (ie screws to attach said mount), instructions for a Sony mount, and a template for a Rocketfish mount. Just missed it on this one BB but I'll be returning the 2nd of 4 items from this order and my Amazon mount will be here tomorrow.
